hi melanie dont know whether youll read this but Ive been thinking about you as you were one to reply to my quest for cycle buddies a couple of months ago, before the site got hacked. I know you were cycling around the same time as I was due to. I think we both had a fet in february , mine abandoned and not too sure if yours was too. Might be wrong there! was doing my qick glance at the other side and saw your name pop up! I think youre on your 2ww now? anyway just wanted to say, hope your ok and wish you all your dreams come true at the end of this 2ww! take care kathryn x

Hello Kathryn, Just came on here to glance and to see how everyone was doing dont really post much but am always checking other peoples progress.Thankyou so much for thinking about me after all this time! Well was due to test today but didn't even get to test as AF came on monday night gutted just isn't the right word just feel so very down at the moment. This was our third try as i did go on to have an FET in March ending in a big fat-too. Was going to phone clinic today but just dont feel upto it yet cant stop crying,so will try tomorrow to book up our follow up. How are you doing Kathryn,are you now on your 2WW? i just hope that you get to your dream, please let me know how things are with you. Would love to chat again real soon. oh melanie, Im really sorry for you. I just thought that as your name hadnt popped up, things might just be ok. I wish I could say something to help. It takes so much time, energy and emotion out of us, going through this tmt, and you think will it ever work for me. But we know it can one day as there are lots of ladies on the other board who have been where we are. although Im not testing until 1st aug,Im already preparing myself to have a fet in oct as I think this just is not going to work! (sounds like Im being really negative but Im doing ok!) have you any little frosties? let me know how you get on at the clinic for your follow up and when youre ready, what you think youll do next. this is just so hard, wanting to be a mummy. But this experience is going to make us the best mummys ever, ok! So dont give up hope melanie, youv'e been a tough cookie to get this far, hold on to your dreams, and take care kathryn x

Kathryn, Thankyou so much for your lovely kind message,i know that it can work and i do hold on too that dream. Did i read that you are having treatment at colchester i too am with the Isis at colchester,and i must say that they are all great and couldn't be happier with all their care and understanding.We are going back to see Andrew Lower on the 22nd august (lovely man) so hopefully he can help us as to where we go next.. I have one little frostie left which was a 6 cell whan frozen,maybe that could be the one i soooo hope that it is..worrying about that thawing already!!!Anyway how many frosties did you manage to freeze? I'm hoping that you will not need them as your dream could be just around the corner! Try and stay positive ok not long to go now lovey,i have everything crossed for you. yes!Im at isis too! Adrian is lovely isnt he and I really like sarah too. did you ever go to the oak before they moved to the industrial site? I must say I wasnt too keen on the recovery room at this new place, I know Im being picky but I liked having my own room with a tv! Saying that, I did have one of those lovely chirs to recover in this time!and its all much better laid out for the ec and the et's. hubbie and I were wondering whether or no to try somewhere else next time as they kept getting things wrong with sorting out my drugs, but I do like it there , they are all very caring ,plus its convenient only being 15 mins up the road. Plus now I have a family of frosties there, I think we are going to stay put! Its really funny finding someone else from isis! Ive not found one person on here for almost a year who has used isis! now every time I go Im going to be thinking, is that melanie! Thawing worries me too but there seems to be a few girlies on here who have managed to thaw one and become pg!this has been really encouraging, so your little embie could well be the one! take care melanie, kathryn x

Hello Kathryn, Yes it does seem funny that you post me a message and we are both at the same clinic. Sarah is lovely and i really like louise too,seems as we are all good friends as we have been up there so many times. It is only a 15-20 min drive for us too so it is well handy for scans and everything. I was at the oaks back in Jan and i know what you mean about having your own room,but as you said it is all laid out nicely there. God how funny i wonder if we have been up there at the same time probably - great that you have lots of frosties there.
