Hi Just a quickie because I have just nipped out of work to do my ironing and need to get back, the joys of living on the work premises. We had our second IUI scan today and have to go back on tuesday for another with possible treatment on Weds or Thursday. I have got 3 follies develping well on the left side so fingers crossed.

It is wonderful to see so many people on this list.

Hi ladies

I was wondering if I can join you? I cycled last august/Sept with a BFN. I start treatment again on 31st March(DR). Anyone start same day? Trying ICSI this time as had poor fertilisation rate last time(10 follies, 3 embies). Just a brief history ...I have mild endo and due to ovarian cyst in 2003 had most of left ovary and left tube removed. Also have hydrosalphinx to right tube. Have high FSH 14.8 at last test. Responded really well to last treatment, better than anticpated. Can't wait to get started and get over with, with hopefully a BFP at the end.

I had my "state of the lining" scan and all fine. Now on double dose oestrogen and scan on Monday... if all is well, ET next week!! Woo hooo!!
I can't wait now, this cycle really seems to have dragged at super slo mo velocity.

Hi everyone and welcome to the new girls! I figured I would log on and get updates on everyone since all of the men I work with have abandoned their jobs to watch the NCAA basketball tournament. (I work with 2 women and 30 men). Thank goodness the OSU Buckeyes won otherwise it would have been an unhappy afternoon around here!

I don't know if you want to update the list - it says I start stimms on 3/18 but I wanted to let you know I have my first scan on 3/22.

All of you wonderful ladies have a great weekend! I will be out of commission until Monday since I have yet to purchase a home computer (more $$ for IVF - lol).

okay...

I have been waiting for my AF so I can do my baseline US to start GonalF.
This morning I work up.. and Nothing.. Around mid day.. I was so excited to see some pink on the paper when I went potty.

I happily set myself up for the normal Pad pon.. THe whole 9 yards..
I called my husband and told him the exciting news.. Called my friend and my mother in law. I was getting ready to take an ad out in the sunday paper so the whole world knew I had a guest..

Then.. Nothing.. Am I crazy? just two little pink strips on the pon. Nothing more.

Was this a mini aunt Flo from the Lupron? Did this count? I almost feel cheated. I was looking forward to using up the last of the pons box before I hoped to not buy any for the next 10 months.

Oh well Sorry for the rant im blaming it on the lupron...

OH and will my boobs hurt this much the whole time? Does it get worse with the gonal F? My poor DH can hardly hug me.

Hello and welcome to all the new arrivals this this thread. The list is certainly getting bigger by the day. I've been off for the past 4 days and it has taken me ages to catch up.

I work as a psychiatric nurse and doing my rotational night shift. but it is nearly finished so can't complain - it has given me the time to find this site and get to know so many kind and interesting people.

I had my appointment on Wednesday at the clinic and hopefully if blood results come through in time should start DR on 25th March with a drug starting with B........ for 18 days and then an additional drug puregon or something. Not keen on injections don't mind giving them to other people though!!!! Started at 9.30pm and by 11pm was giving a patient 4 injections in the bum while she was being restrained!! poor lady.

Going to get a cup of tea now - will speak again tomorrow night.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this message board and feel kind of nervous.

I am 6 days post transfer of 3 embies and get tested on March 22..I hope all goes well. Its strange just sitting and waiting to see how things go. This is my first IVF and its all very new to me. If anyone can advice me on how to relax and not be so worried about the beta test it would really help..I am an acupuncturist and try to do aromatherapy to help ease the nerves. If anyone needs help with acupuncture info please free to ask.

Hi Kristine and welcome. Good luck on your two week wait(2WW). When I did IVF last year the 2WW nearly drove me mad. It was for me the worst part of the whole IVF journey. I'm not a very patient person. Everybody is different as you will know and will have their own different ways to chill out. This year i have already stock piled books, dvd's and jigsaw puzzles just to keep my mind occupied. Try not to read into every sign that your body may give you(easier said than done!) and do not test early as so many of us are tempted to do. Take it easy and try to relax, it's a good excuse to get pampered! The 22nd will soon be hear with(fingers crossed) some fabulous news for you....BFP. Hang on in there.xx

Can I join you please. I started my 2nd FET on 12th March on Day 19 of my cycle. Im guessing that ET will probably be mid to end April depending on when next AF starts. Im on Buserelin at the moment and then when AF arrives hopefully next week but probably week after I will then have a blood test on Day 4 and as long as thats ok more injections, lots of tablets and delightful pessaries

My brief history is that I have been trying to conceive for about 7 years. 5 years with ex husband then a gap now 2 years with my new wonderful DH. I have had 3 -ve IUI and severe OHSS and never got to ET on 1st IVF, then had -ve FET in December and I now am really hoping that this is my time to get that BFP.

So many new girls, welcome and good luck.

Finally started stimming on Friday and everything is going well so far. They are a little nippy but since i haven't had any side affects throughtout the treatment i have nothing to complain about. The nurse informed me that it's a good sign and i will probably sail through the menopause -------- i suppose thats good news but lets hope its years away .

Deirdre and Melissa - hope your appointments went ok, good luck

Kristine - I am having acup and although i don't feel a difference i am fairly relaxed and have had no problem with my cycle so far. Hopefully it is working inside. Give it a try, its not sore. Hope the dreaded 2ww is going smoothly?

Danielle - Gonal F is meant to bring back the good hormones so you should start to feel better, thats what the nurse tells me anyway. However there can be different side affects for everyone and although my tum does swell a little, i dont feel any pain, good luck

gailp - I'm due to start Buserelin on the 25th March - as I'm scared of needles please give me reasureance that its not all that bad?? Did you have any side-effects??

Another night shift but so far so good and no dramas to report......... 6 hours to go though!!! the night is young.

Hope everyone is coping with the dreaded 2ww, blood tests, scans, injections etc ........ hopefully March/April will be a lucky lucky time!!!!!
