Well I think it's all over. Won't be sure till tomorrow. But I either have 'implantation bleeding' or AF is about to start. It's early though, only 10 days after ovulation, who knows!

Am feeling really teary though which could either be PMT or generally feeling rubbish given how stressful this whole thing is. I've given up. Why can't it work for us? When will our luck change? Am really peed off. Oh
well. I guess when I definitely know tomorrow I'll book in my next scan and get on with the next IUI in a couple of weeks.

Sorry, but it doesn't look like I'll be adding a BFP to the board.

Bec I am so so very sorry to hear your news. I know exactly how you feel as I started bleeding on day 10 and convinced myself it was implantation bleeding when it was really AF starting.

Don't know what else I can say except I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Will you start straight away again. I did and I think it helped as there is still the hope of next month.

Hi girls x hope you are all keeping well.

I had transfer yesterday ( Sun) and I had 2 8 cells put back in. All went very well. My doctor was amazing, I have had 4 ivfs before and the doctors have never been able to put the catheter through my cervix and I have had to have a transymetrial transfer, well this doctor, new hospital, did it in seconds and I didn't feel a thing!!!! Let's hope 5th time lucky

I have been told to test on Fri 31st ( 2 days early) and then again on Sun 2nd April. I don't know why they do this?
So officially my 2 week wait test date is April 2nd.

Hello there

Thanks for all your support, but I'm pretty sure it's my AF. Although no full on bleed yet (TMI!! Sorry!) it's definitely like the start of one. Did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Have resigned myself to the fact it's a BFN. Didn't sleep much last night as kept weeping and waking DH up!

Got into work this morning and within 10 mins one of my colleagues came up to me and told me she wanted a word, and she had something to tell me. Lo and behold she wanted to tell me she was pregnant with twins. Yipee! Fantastic timing! However, she is lovely and deserves it, so I gave her a hug and felt genuinely happy for her. Normally I feel my heart breaking whenever anyone announces a pregnancy, but I was actually ok with this one. Was very proud of myself.

Anyway, I needed to do something positive, so rang my clinic and have booked in for my scan in 9 days, so we'll be IUI'ing again straight away.
I will be joining the April testers!

I'm quite gutted, really angry that luck's not on our side AGAIN. It isn't fair. But guess we've got to get back on the horse. Tell me it will happen for us pls..........

You don't me, I have been off the boards for a while and only pop on every so often now.

Hope that you are feeling ok . It was really brave of you to hug your friend when she gave you her news. It is really hard hearing of other peoples pregnancies at the best of times x hugs to you too x

You have to believe it will happen for you other wise you may aswell give up. If something is worth fighting for you have to fight as long as you are able.

We are going through our 5th ivf and I feel like it will never happen for us, but something inside always holds a little hope, I hope you find it inside you too.

Well done for looking forward and booking your scan it gives you something positive to focus on.

BecP - I'm sorry that you have had to hear news of a friends pregnancy....its tough and I know how you feel as I was very pleased for a work colleague who "out of the blue" announced that she was pregnant. She didnt even think she would fall that easily as she has PCOS but has great delight in spending "every" minute of the day talking over and over about her pregnancy. Don't get me wrong I truly am happy for her but sometimes I think she is being a bit selfish . she knows exactly what I am going through as well.

Anyway, I am sorry that it seems to be not good news for you this month but I hope you get straight back into it as soon as you can.

Me on the other hand have returned to work today and the time flew by.......really proud of myself cause I must have only thought about "it" 1000 times instead of the usual 5000 times LOL

Still getting niggling pains shooting around my womb area and sore boobs but through it all...................IM AM DETERMINED TO STAY POSITIVE!!!

P.S. What is the success rate for IUI?? will all of you that are on it go on to do IVF if its not successful say after 3/4 times?

Angela - I noticed you were on the NHS waiting list. we were so lucky as where we live (Bedfordshire) we are allowed 2 free cycles, we are on our second now. We go to Bourn Hall in Cambs - where are you

Well done on your transfer Im glad it went smoothly. What day embryos were they when you had them transferred?

I had a 4 cell and a 7 cell replaced on day 2. I know in different countries they leave them longer.

I wish you loads of luck as you sound very brave holding on in there after so many knock backs. x

Hi Ladies,

We saw 1 heartbeat, it was fab, although i was in a state of shock, it was as though it was happening to someone else. We even got a picture, which is now up in the living room. Will be praying hard now until the next scan which is about 12 weeks, really hoping it continues.

IM STILL POSITVE THINKING even though I am only day 7 post collection..............seems like I have ages to wait. Was considering doing a HPT on mothers day (26th) might bring me some luck, you never know ..........
