Just quick hello as I've just got horrible pains again - they come and go and when they come I have to walk around to distract myself. Don't know how I'll cope with labour - this is quite enough for me thank you very much!
Danica - I'm sure we must all be black and blue on the inside! Good job it happens gradually or we'd be so freaked out wouldn't we? Like something out of 'Alien'!! Still, it's all lovely really
Love to all
Speak to you all soon,

Hope everyone is ok. Its a bit quiet here at the moment, perhaps because everyone is preparing for their new arrivals.
Congratulations to Little P and Esther on the arrival of your lovely little girls and hurry up Cheryl and Jacs for the next installments!!
We have another scan on wednesday to decided if a c-section is necessary. I am hoping they say its hasn't grown too much more so we can go for a normal delivery.
Take care all

HEY LADIES,
TIme to check in for those of you who haven't for a long time.
This thread is just too quite.
WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is everyone feeling?
My back has been killing me and my tummy is so tender. It seems one day that my boy did not want to stop moving the entire day and boy have I been sore since. Felt like he was in some kind of judo compettition. His head is pushing on my cervix and bladder and I swear he has little pins stuck on his head. That's what it feels like to me anyway. I feel very heavy too like he is going to slide right out when I stand. then again I am only 5 " so he's almost taller than me already
DH is complaining of a sore throat and yesterday he said he felt green, came home from work early and he crashed on the couch. OH I pray I don't get what he is coming down with.
Take care all
Love
Joy
Hi all - yes Joy, it is quiet on here but I think its the lack of energy at the end for most of us. It's become quite a trial to be out of bed everyday, I could happily stay there all day! Hope evreyone's doiing great and 'enjoying' (if poss) the last few weeks. Can't wait to hear everyone's news.
Olivia - any updates after your scan?

Everything is fine, but he weighs nearly 10 pound already. He is continuing to grow steadily and the placenta, movements etc.. are all good so they are going to leave things to continue at the moment. I had a GTT test which was fine so definately not big due to diabetes. Me and dh both fairly small, although dh was a fair size born, so I don't why i am having this super sized chap!!
Hope all the3rd tri ladies are continuing to bloom, hi to everyone.

hello girls n bumps!
ive been soooo drained this past week and a half - i had a terrible cold with the runny eyes (they shrunk heaps!) and the nose, blocked ears - in fact im still deaf in my left ear and the rest of it... ive had the flu before but this cold knocked my sox off!! i cant believe how tired i've been!! i too could stay in bed for ages! ive been taking a nap during the day, i cant believe it!! it must be the lack of sleep during the night as well - pregnancy definately prepares u for a baby huh... im awake by about 2-3am and stay awake till the alarm goes off at 6am - what is going on!!!??!! anyways, i hope u dont catch what ur partner has joy, it really does knock u about coz we're pregnant?! possibly too i usually take cold and flu tablets which get rid of the symptoms but thats taboo for us now!
hope everyones doing well!
luv, d
Hi girls,
Thought it was about time i checked in again, been having major pc problems, it's riddled with viruses and very annoying pop ups and running extremely slow and for some strange reason my anti virus doesn't seem to be helping any, think it could be time for a total reboot. It seems ok at the moment so thought i'd pop on.
I've exactly 7 weeks today til my due date and it can't come soon enough. I'm still working and very tired all the time, got just under 4 weeks of work left but i'm hoping to get in a couple of weeks holidays before my leave starts, have to speak nicely to the area manager when he comes back from his hols later in the week.
At the last few midwife appointments i've had they have measured me about 2-3 weeks bigger, not sure if the measurements mean anything, i mean, how can they tell just by a tape measure?
Been having painfull Braxton Hicks the last 2 weeks, they have really stopped me in my tracks, not sure how i'll cope when the real thing starts coz these are bad enough but i suppose i don't have a choice, this little un has to come out at some point.
My next door neighbour done a really nice thing for me, she's made up a hospital bag for the baby, so that's one less thing for me to worry about, just need to think about what i need for my own one now. Any tips on what and how much to pack?
Time for a bit of a rant now about how inconsiderate some people can be. About a fornight ago Michael's (my DH) brother informed us he's booked a date to get married, we were shocked enough at that news but the date has just left everyone totally gobsmacked, even their parents, 19th May, 4 days after my due date. They really haven't thought about this at all, i don't get why they couldn't have just waited another month. I might be totally wrong but i think chosing that date could be an attention thing, apart from our wedding 2 years ago (which was 22nd May, also my birthday) everyone's focussed on me and Michael having the baby, we usually don't get that much attention coz we don't already have kids (his brother and sister do) so i think maybe they are feeling a bit left out now and want some of the attention back on them. Like i said i could be wrong, but does this sound like a case of sibling rivalry to anyone else?
Sorry for the long post, i'll just end it by saying HUGE congratulations to Smita, Little P and Esther on the births of their daughters and would like to wish Good Luck to all due any day now.
Hopefully my pc problems will be fixed soon and it won't be as long til i post again.
Take care all,
Lotsa love
Michelle

Hi everyone ( congratz CC on making it to 40 weeks!)
I have been soooo stressed since last wensday when i had a growth scan on my twins, and baby A was smaller than 2 weeks prior to that scan, although the tech said he couldnt take good measurments i have been worried sick something is wrong. Tomorrow i have another scan so i am praying that the babies are in a good position for a good scan.
I hope everyone else is ok, and thinking of you Jacs.
It seems like things are certainly picking up around here So much going on! I am so glad that I am not the only one feeling like this. It seems like I start out the day really well and by lunch time I'm ready to crawl back in bed. Not only because I am tired, but also because my entire body aches. My joints are so sore! Anyone else have this problem? I guess I shouldn't complain as I have not had any other problems the entire pregnancy. I guess it just makes me a little more anxious to get this baby out so I can meet her...I have a ways to go so I better find something to distract me
I have a doctor's appt. on Friday, which I love I'm sure you're all the same...hearing the heartbeat and that everything is okay...constant reassurance is good, especially after what we've all been through to get to this point, right?!
My family threw me my baby shower this past weekend and it was so much fun! I am so in baby mode now. I will be 31 weeks tomorrow and I would be happy not working anymore or taking classes until the baby comes However, I'm not lucky enough to be able to do that so I will be chugging along until my due date. At least my classes are done in the beginning of May.

I haven't posted in a while myself! I am working on a reduced work schedule these days, so the hours I'm in the office, it is really crazy trying to train a new person, hire 1 more before I go on leave and just general transition stuff. As a bonified work-a-holic, realizing these babies are coming has been tough.
Babies are great, blood pressure is great, body is shot. I'm always sore "down there", contractions, swelling, etc. but I know that I'm almost done!
We did a 4D scan which was incredible for me and DH. It was a fun sneak peek at the babies.
