Hello everyone,

Sorry i haven't been around much lately - to be honest my mind isn't on IVF at all. Last time the thought of it filled every second of every day but this time I hardly think of it at all. I was so positive about it all before but now I am more sedate. Have started injections - just waiting for AF which should hopefully appear around Sunday. I'm on fully medicated AF so ET around Easter.

Anna - I CANT BELIEVE IT! You are finally starting - good for you girl - lets hope for a huge massive BFP!

Hello to everyone else too - must dash as I have forgotton to do injection (20 mins late) I set my alarm on my watch but I have forgotton to put it on.

Hugs and babydust to you all,

Anna - great, the news just gets better and better for you!! All these +ve vibes will help certainly during the tmt. Am so happy for you.

Cla - glad all's well with you and thanks for the good wishes.

Sophie - can understand how you feel; it's your mind's way of coping with it all. You sound very calm and serene which is excellent - to be nice and relaxed during tmt.

Christine - good luck for the start of your tmt tomorrow. You'll be fine - we're here if you need us.

Just a little update from me: had a scan today (at 5 weeks) showing 2 little bubbles!!! One's a lot smaller so we need to wait and see till the next scan at 7 weeks. Am trying to take it easy as am continuously spotting.

Wishing everyone lots of PMA!!!

Hi Anna, How are things? When do you next go for your scan? Can't wait to hear your news.

I'm taking each day as it comes trying not to get too hopeful until that 12/14 week mark, but i am made up, i have never got this far. Seems weird because hardly anyone knows.

I have got to try and scrounge a couple of cyclogest 400g pessaries off someone, as now have been discharged from hospital and doctors appointment is a week on Fri, but only just joined that practice, so they don't know about treatment and i have never seen the doctor before. Anyone any ideas as to who i could ask?

Hope everyone is doing well,

take care

love

Greetings all.
Sue, so glad to hear it's all going well. And I now have true hope that the doctors at the Hewitt Centre actually know what they're talking about, as you are living proof.
Regarding your pessaries, why not try asking at the chemist in the first instance. They are not necessarilly prescription only. Try a couple. I was turned away from one chemist when trying to buy EMLA cream, but have never had a problem getting it elswhere. The chemists are always a bit surprised as they usually only get requests for it with a prescription, but it is fine to sell it without one (and cheaper). It may be the same for the pessaries. Failing that, I would ring the women's and I'm sure they'll prepare a prescription for you that you can just collect.

Anna, are you keeping the list? Can I go back on please? I should be trying again next cycle, so by my calculations I should start injecting around 28th-ish April ready for transfer first or second week of May. How's the stimming going?

Doctor says as far as he was concerned last time was a great success and they have no reason why it didn't implant. Mother nature playing her deadly tricks again. Hopefully this time will be the time. I am trying to work up some PMA. Not doing so well today though. I went for a coffee to try and cheer myself up as I had an unexpected break at work and was feeling quite blue and ended up spending £35.00 on a piece of costume jewellery. I DON'T EVEN WEAR COSTUME JEWELLERY. It is on my finger now reminding me that retail therapy is no answer and only to buy stuff you can take back!!!!
I will never learn.

Hope all you girls are well. Souris how's it going? Is DH taking the vitamins? I remembered that my DH started eating Brazil nuts like they were going out of fashion. They are supposed to be packed full of healthy sperm growing vitamins and they seemed to do the trick.

Afternoon!
Feel like I'm slipping out of touch here. Just don't seem to be able to remember any more than one thing! So forgive if I've missed anything/one!

Anna - hows the injections going? I'm so excited that you're finally doing this! What's the timeframe for you? I can't even remember what protocol you're doing?

Lynne - welcome back! Great to hear from you again! I hate shopping for that very reason that I always end up buying a load of cr*p!

Sue e- Hope you got the pessaries you needed - if not why not call the hospital where you had treatment and ask them for a prescription. Although they've discharged you, I'm sure they'll help!

Christine and Sophie - great to see you've both started new cycles. I don't know about you but the waiting in between drove me mental. Am much happier actually doing something!

Souris - how's you? did you make any decisions about adoption?

Stacy + Eminde - hi to 2 more of our smiley faces on this tread!

Has anyone heard from Kelly or Lisa at all?

Yeah! Friday at last - off for the weekend! Have made m/wife app. for Monday afternoon so hopefully will have some more news to give then!

Hi girls
Sorry I have not posted lately - have been trying to keep up with all your news.
I am still waiting for AF to show, I can then call the clinic and get dates etc. to start FET, am now on day 37 and it's driving me crazy, I don't feel unduly stressed (which sometimes causes AF to arrive late).
Had bad cramps on Wednesday so thought AF was about to show, but still nothing, last night had pain in right side, similar to that when they did EC in Jan - not too sure what's going on really but hey will keep trudging on.
Hope everyone is well, I'll let you know when I get any news.
Take care and think positive thoughts

Hello ladies, happy Saturday.

Kelly, I really do understand your frustration with Af. Its emotionally draining to carry on waiting for so long. I will do a special jig for you!! If you get to 40 days, and still no sign, I would ask the dr for some meds to bring it on. I have been in the same situation on a number of occassions, it drove me demented :x

Hi to Sue-e. How are you? Enjoy your lazy weekend! Hope you got hold of the pessaries you needed. Thinking of you, right with you as you count away the days x

Hi to Cla, I too am getting excited at getting this far! My first scan is on Monday to see if I have grown any follies. Trying not to think about all this too much, but it is very difficult when you are injecting each day and sniffing 3x a day! If all goes according to plan (BIG IF!) I will be going for EC around April 4th. Thank you for your message. I hope you are OK and looking after yourself. Hope all goes well with the midwife on Monday.

Lynne, welcome back, have got you back on our list. I giggled when I read your post about shopping. I hate shopping with avengence. They never have what I want! I am rubbish at buying clothes and stuff. I now will not go shopping without my sister who is fab at it and very good at giving an honest opinion! Wishing you loads of luck with this cycle.

Christine, how are you? Hope all is going according to plan. What meds are you on? When is your ET? Good luck with this cycle.

Hi to Sophie. Hope AF is on time and things can go according to plan. Good to hear you are nice and relaxed. This is the ONE!!! BFP all the way :)

Hello to Souris, haven't seen you post for a while. Hope you are Ok. Not long to your apptmt now.

Our list
- Anna - short protocol, first scan for follies 27th March
- Eminde - BFP! Twins
- Stacy - BFP!
- Cla - BFP! Midwife aptmt Monday 27th March
- Sophie - start FET tmt 16th March (ET around Easter)
- Christine - start FET tmt 23rd March
- Souris - appt 4th April to discuss next steps
- KellyL - FET April
- Lynne - starting injections 28th April
- Lisa(Macca8) - Cycle planned for July

Hello to Eminde and Stacy, hope you are OK!

I have been stimming/injecting/sniffing for 4 days now. Should I be feeling anything? I have no side effects or symptoms or anything. Am now paranoid that it won't work :( Trying to stay relaxed.....any tips/advice?

PMA to all
Keep smiling :)
Bye for now
