Hi everyone. Just looked at the board and it is great to see so many smiley faces - welld one girls.

I am sooooo sorry for the BFN it is a truly difficult time, i wish you love and hope for the future x

Everyone else waiting - hang on in there!!!

Sue - How amazing to hear the heart beat, that is the most wonderful, precious thing. Lots of love x

Tea, thanks for the lovely message.
I am now back in England , being treated in B'ham. I had egg collection on Thursday and I had the 2 x 8 cell put back on Sunday. We went for blastocyst on the 4th try and was advised to put them back sooner and got a 6a and 7b. They don't grade the eggs in B'ham a,b, etc. This time they seem better. But who knows in the crazy world of IVF?

BFN

Post by bsbulldog »

hello all, i just wanted to say it is a BFN. I had blood done today instead of tomorrow because DH is going out of town for work. I am really glad he will be here with me. How devastating. This is our second shot at IVF, and I think it will be my last. Good luck to the rest of the march testers, let's see some more smiling faces.

I am so sorry bsbulldog for your result its very upsetting I know, I am on my second attempt and I think I will be more upset this time than last time mainly because you don't really expect the first to work. It is such a strain on our relationships as well as our emotions and I think after this go if it doesnt work, we will have our LAST attempt with the frozen embies then call it a day. I wish you all the best in the future - what ever your decision............

Kristine - any good news for us ?????

Leanne - so when is your official test date? You will no doubt be in April sometime won't you? GOOD LUCK to you x

Daly - welcome to the list. Is this your first attempt? Have you had urges to do a HPT yet?

Angela

Hope it all went well, I dont really know that much about IUI - what are the success rates, do you need to take any progesterone pessaries or anything for your 2ww and how many follicles did you have?

What about multiple pregnancies - is this likely?

Will you ever go on to do IVF is this try is unsuccessful?

Hope your wait goes smoothly.......................not long for me now, I'm over half way there 8) I'm still cool (yeah right!!)

Hello everyone!

Sorry to see the recent BFNs. :(

Tea - this is my 2nd IVf, and I agree with you that it would be much harder to accept bfn. Seems like I approached the first one like a dress rehearsal! Unfortunately I'm a poor responder and never get enough eggs to freeze. (I barely have enough to have ET!) We test one day apart. I'll be sending you lots of sticky dust!! BTW I'm already thinking about pee sticks. UGH!! I'm such an addict!!

Julie - Very warm thoughts and sticky dust to you and your little frosties waiting!!!

Tons of PMA for the waiting testers!!!
