Whoa there lady

Deep breath.
So, will they def not be able to start cycle before their time off? How many days have you got for AF to start and it still be ok? If you end up having to wait and work gets in the way...can you take it as sick leave? annual leave? special leave? In uk employment legislation covers IVF treatment, is it the same in US?

I know I know it smells of Aint Fair and Poo!!! AF is evil whore for holding you to ranson like this!!! Wish I could do something magic to change this.

If I were you, I'd just cycle as soon as I could and negotiate with work......unless....when you get your head around this latest kick in the cojones you decide to wait until Sept. Y'know it's not that long and by then your travelling will be over and you'll be relaxed and stress free with no high speed turtle chases to deal with....

Its crap I know this constant being let down. You've had such a snow shaker time of it since last October, and before that even. You deserve a little normal, a little easy and straightforward. I'm sending you a maternal hair ruffle and a chuck under the chin.

As for your angelic sisterly endo share - you are the better person.

Lola

PS Demetrio nominated you for the massage. He was panting as he said it

 Hi girls

Am away to view another house so it's a quicky (excuse the pun)

Had my scan today and all is well. My ovaries are in tip top condition and they each have 4 follies so far. They are measuring at between 10-12mm so still have a way to go. Felt a little dissapointed at first as i thought i would have more given my medi was increased then i remembered i had 8 follies in total at the END of my last cycle (EC). Now feel a bit more positive agian as i still have probably another 6-8 days to go of the stimming? Send me egg building vibes girls. I need some to freeze this time.

I also had to have a blood test to check out my hormone leve. Never had this the last time but hey i'm getting to be an old pro with these needles. Oh ye did i tell you the acup lady put a needle in my head and forehead, nearly died of shock but felt so chilled out after it. Must be working a treat, only need someone to invent glue to stick the embies to my womb then i will be soooooooooo chilled that i will be expecting quads???

Lola - Good luck with the ET, will be thinking of you, BFPPPPPPPPPPPP all the way

Love to you all as usual

Lola, Lola, Lola..... today is the BIG day.

I can't believe it is here already.... I'm crossing all extremities for you, you fearless fighter...
I am hoping your frosties will be just like you (no offence to DH) and keep us entertained during their 2 ww. They'll want to stay in the warmth of your aura, Lola.
Bring on the 2ww, girl....like Walshy..need to think up new plans about how to distract you.

So what TV series have you planned to get addicted to this time?

Wishing you the smoothest ET possible dear Octofriend....

Hoping to read good news from you soon....

Much love to you and the snow bunnies,

Little R

Big day today for the Octoblerones....Go, Lola, Go

Am finally back from the cold and enjoying the sunshine (which I haven't seen for over 10 days) in warm Dubai....
It's good to be back ...and back with you...I hate not having internet access... as I can't talk to you freely.

Those days are over and I am back home until the summer I think :D
I can put the painting and the house behind me for a little while as I have my Dr's appointment on Saturday. I need to start focussing on paying attention to what I eat and how I treat my body.....as I haven't been very conscientious about that lately. I think I still reek of paint

It's been lovely reading all your news....although some has been sad.... for starters....

Steph: my poor poor Octobuddy... I wish I could take your AF and personally kick her sorry _ss. I can't believe the hand you have been dealt since last October. I am so sorry. It seems it doesn't get any easier for you......your patience and strength being constantly tested. I can quite understand your disbelief.... AF comes regularly with her wretched news and the only time you want her to be dependable she's not there rearing her ugly head   Given that I am in the midst of AF's wicked ways, I hate her even more.
Sweetie, I won't add to the advice Lola and our friends have been giving...but I agree try and negotiate with work if you can. On the other hand, September is just around the corner in many ways... I can't believe it's already nearly April--- it's mind boggling how time flies. What ever you do, will be the right decision. Sending you all my PMA and my sunshine....

By the way, brilliant work with your endo friend; you make us proud.... I totallly agree with the Lolamaster... you ARE THE BETTER PERSON! I wouldn't have been able to show your restraint given the timing and would have let rip....
Guess what...darling Steph... have 3 episodes of Grey's Anatome on my VCR....it's Season 1 and we are probably at least a year behind you... I love McDreamy.... yummy, yummy....never seen a Dr that good-looking! Will be thinking about you when I watch them later on today.
Much love to you Steph.....

Jen, girl: well it sounds like everything is coming along nicely....don't be disappointed. As you said you still have time   .... I'm hoping for lovely full and ripe follies.... and plenty so you can freeze them this time!!! Way to go with the acupuncture....sounds like fun

Walshy: hope your dinner party went well. Sounds like you are moving ahead with your cycle and that you have everything planned.

MUCH love to you all.....how I have missed my regular chats with you...

Special thoughts to Lola and her partner in crime, Steph

Hola las 'bers!

Thanks for the pro ET vibes - lets hope they did the trick!!
Had the transfer this morning - 2 embryos thawed and now swimming about down mexico way. 1 four cell and 1 three cell that divided on trip from lab to a 4 cell. Don't know the grade, all we got was a "good". Still have 12 in Refrigerino Land. It didn't go as comfortably as last time and I had post procedure PMA vacuum and mood dip. Suddenly thought, I have a bad feeling about this. May have been the overwhelming urge to empty bladder, man! Anyhoooos yo daddy, The Test is on 4th April. Arghhhhh, scary dude!

Little R so good to have you back!!
Steph - I await AF update!!
Jemla - when your next scan?
Walsh - whats the plan and timetable after you get AF?

Sorry brief - I exhausted! More later my darling octos

Love Waves, wavey like

Mornin Sunshines on my shoulder!!

To my Very Waskily Wabbit Lola- Top Job on the FET!! I'll drink to that! Have no fear on smoothness of transfer... My first transfer- the one that actually took place, did not go very swimmingly. My bladder was so full that when he went to "practice" he could not see what he was doing or get in the needle... I had to take a little wee.. I mean a little one! They handed me a cup the size of shot glass (unfortunately, did not contain any spirits) and said fill this and stop. Apparently all the bandha work from yoga put keigels in excellent shape, because I actually did stop. Try number two went OK, As you know I did get preggers.
Welcome the snow bunnies, love the snow bunnies and if need be threaten the snow bunnies  I made sure that they had there headlamps on....

Wells my bells... Nasty B*tch absolutely refuses to visit! I had my scan and they saw... well nothing. No cyst, no ovulation, nothing. Whatz up Doc has no clue what is goin on with my girly parts. So nurse needle draws my blood and am now awaiting those tests, which will probably reveal that Colonel Mustard did it in the Library with a candlestick. So, this is just another example of how nothing goes as plan in "This is My life" starring Yoga Girl of the Tubernuts. My inner om is surprisingly kicking a little *ss. I am very- oh well, it will happen when it is supposed to, la-la. and fiddle -dee-dees. I think I have decided that work will have to jump in the back seat or take a hike if it comes down to going ahead or waiting for summer madness to be over.... keep you posted on that one, but am waiting to red death to show and I can look at timeline...

Little R- My peeps! So nice to have your sweet little bottom back round. I will take you up on the pointed shoes. Kick her to the nearest slums! A yoga class hmmm... I likey! Very serene of you my dear. One on one no less... it's not Demetrio is it? If instructor shows with little raft instead of little mat be very wary. The massage I gave him got a little more gropy then Lola would like. Shhh, don't tell Miss Jones. I was stuck in Grey's Anatomy marathon last night. My sis bought the first season on DVD and I missed some, so am watching ALL! I couldn't turn it off... MMM McDreamy.

Walshy- Why work when you can chat? Why not chat at work like I am doing? I feel as my Walshy meter has not been charged lately- give us the goods on Walshy World!

Jen- lucks to ya for the morrow. Power up the follies! Whew.. am staying in lotus to keep positive vibes a flowin. Can you feel the love tonight?

OK cha-cha's must go to gab about geese...
this save the planet thing is tiring! Where's Leonardo D. when I need him?

What' eva,
Steph

hey hey 'bers!

Jen - how did the scan go today? Are you blossoming with follies? Did you get a date for EC and ET???? If I were you I would sue Emla! Unless you had a duff tube? So close now - this is where things seem to go really fast. Until brick wall 2ww....aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh death by a thousand yawns :D

Little R man how I wish you lived in my building! We could enjoy marathon TV-o-days filled to the head fluffing brim with pap pap pap. Cyber me over some Greys Anantomy!! I am having a coma day watching hour after life sucking hour of cable tv. How many repeat episodes of Scrubs can a girl watch before her brain turns to liquid and spills out her ears? I'll let you know when I have the answer - yes! I do this for science! Your appointment tomorrow - good luck! Hope you're not planning to wear your ass peek trousers
If Demetrio is your one on one yoga dude - ensure you lock your fridge.

Steph and her concrete pelvic floor! Man oh man, shot glass wee? I worship at your alter to the pelvic elevator!! Maybe thats why your AF hasn't put in an appearance? Its trapped!
So whats Dr Scratchy Head planning now then? Wait for the blood results and take from there? Glad you're feeling a bit zen about it. Is so frustrating! I'll be stressed on your behalf

Walshyyy maps, GPS, headlamps they got the works. If it all goes tubal this time.... what can you do? So when are you starting treatment again sweetpea? Any more indecent exposure stories?? I miss 'em

I'm bored!!!! Don't want to study. Not going to. Want to know immediately if this is going to work!! Can't wait another 11 days, I'm just not in the mood, ya dig? Need distracting. Also I am ugly. I awoke today with another spot and a grey evil dead look. I'm off before spiral of badness ensues...

Take care ma good buddies

Love
