Hi all... Im new to this site...Ive been trying to find out information ... and dont seem to be having much luck.. wondering if anyone can help me here!
Im from Scotland... and 39... I was steralised 7 years ago... with clips on my tubes.. so I know the risk of having it reversed will cause a higher chance of ectopic pregnancy... and also money is an issue too... I have now remarried since having my other children and for the first time in my life I desperately want to have a baby with my new husband.. its making me depressed and unhappy over this... I know the only way I can now have that dream come true is to have my eggs taken as I still ovulate...and have his sperm fertalised with my eggs and then put back into the womb...as I can carry without any problems once im pregnant...
Can anyone tell me where I can go too get help with this as I cant afford to have full ivf treatment and im not needing the whole set up for it...
Please help if you have any information about this id be glad of it...

Hi and welcome to the board.
Apologies if I'm being dim, but what do you mean by 'you don't need the whole set up'? It isn't possible to harvest your eggs without going through an IVF cycle with all the meds - in a regular, natural ovulation there's only one egg so you need the drugs to boost and control the growth of more. Having them collected takes place via scans and under sedation on a day controlled with meds. The fertilisation is I guess possible in a less scientific way but when to put them back is also timed to the minute and controlled with yet more drugs to ensure your body is ready.
Your point about knowing you can carry doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of successful IVF - sadly. I was first time lucky with IVF so also I know I can carry a child full term but have had many failed IVFs since.

Hi there.. thank you for the welcome...~S~... sorry I forgot about the fact I needed to produce more eggs....so they can be harvested to fertilise with my husbands....thank you for reminding of that...is there any where that does this on the nhs.. I dont know where to start with this..

It lists all the UK fertility centres/clinics, private and public + their success rates for the different types of treatment.
If you've children already you're (I think) almost guaranteed NOT to get NHS funding. The rules might say '3 free tries per couple' but as many know on here, most regions don't have the funds so restrict it to one or maybe two. Many more have their own rules about who qualifies, these inlcude: no biological kids already from either partner, if they think the woman is too heavy, many have age rules....the list goes on.
Your best bet is to start with your GP but have looked on the website above to get an idea of which clinics are closest to you. Most private clinics have websites that will give you more info.

Debra's right, I doubt the NHS would fund.
We couldn't get any funding because my husband voluntarily had a vasectomy (like you had sterilisation) and he already had children. The NHS see this as a choice he made so their funding will go to cases that genuinely could not control their infertility. Eventhough I can have a child naturally (probably like your husband), they look upon this as our choice by the partners we've picked.
I know it might feel cruel to you as it did once to us but to be fair to the NHS, that is right way to go about it.
You would need full IVF unless you get your tubes unblocked.
