Jacko - So sorry to hear about AF. It is pants - ignore the pun. So glad you are carrying on and good luck with the next cyle

Jan - How are you? Hopefully at home resting during your 2ww

Nicki - Hope you are well

Holly - Talk about DH getting stressed about s/t. Last night he only got 2 hours sleep worrying in case they wouldn't find any. good luck with the doctors appointment

Hi to all the other IUI's

Well I had IUI this morning so am now on dreaded 2ww. So glad I have got this site to keep me company. Feeling very chilled out this time. I even went to work when I got home as decided if I don't I will just spend the time worrying. Also found out more about IVF if this doesn't work so all in all feeling very positive.

Well he has an app its on tuesday so thats the next step after that we can make app to see our doctor again. Its a 4 hour round trip to the hospital.I am working hard at the gym I had a fitness test and a program written so I will shed some kilos I hope.
Angela good luck with the two weeker I will pray for you.How long did you lie on the bed after your iui I know hospitals have different ideas of how long you should lie for?

Hi Holly

We only get to lie for 10 minutes at our hospital. I always think that is a bit quick and wonder if I should be there longer. Last cycle I came home and spent the rest of the day on the settee. This time I went straight back to work, although I made DH do all the hard lifting etc.

I am feeling more chilled this time, and I guess I am not expecting it to work. That way hopefully I won't be as devastated if it doesn't.

Best go as I am supposed to be ironing before I go to work not playing on the computer

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been so quiet this week...super busy at work...lots going on and just been wiped by evening.

Jacko: welcome, and so sorry to hear AF arrived

It totally sucks I know. I am currently on 2ww and this is our 5th try...our thought was to go for 6 and then make decisions after that. Not sure if that helps you. And, if I did 2 at once, I'd still only count that as 1 try...just my opinion. Hope you are feeling better and be sure to stay in touch as the support never ends on here.

Ang: posted to you on 30/40 but just wanted to say again...welcome to the dreaded 2ww...!

BTW...at my clinic, we lie down, with hips/legs raised for 20 mins. I got 25 once time for 'good measure' but didn't work

And just one more comment before sign off...what's up with guys being so hesitant/complaining about s/t??? As if they have it so hard...

Hi girls, AF isnt here!!!!

I wonder if thats good news!!! DH says I shouldnt get hopes up as AF has been late before and still no babe!!!

So I wont test til after 7 days late, just in case, dont want to waste money on tests if its BFN.

Hey Nicki! Hope your weekend away was wonderful!

How late is AF? Hopefully she lost her way for...oh....maybe 9 months or so???

All is well here...just continuing on 2ww and staying busy at home & work! And of course, counting the days to our vacation!

Nicki.... BC is birth control pills..Its totally ironic.. With all 3 of my IUI's I overstimiulated so they are making me take a month off with the pills.. I am trying to stay positive but its so hard... I am scared because if IVF does not work there are no other choices.....
