July Cycle Buddies......continued!

Post by Alison »

Dawn - I'm getting worried that you haven't posted again. Hope all's OK and that you're just taking it nice and easy.

Kat, Kathryn - you two are being silly about the bleeding! I think the majority of people don't have it, but its just that some people have had quite a bit of bleeding and still been PG, and that gives reassurance to the rest of us!

I really don't know what to think. Last time (with blastocysts) AF arrived 6 days after transfer, so if that happened again that would mean AF arriving on Thursday. But that was after IVF, wheras this is FET, and actually AFs not really due til next Tuesday anyway (I test on Monday). Who knows?! I would though give anything to knock myself out tonight and wake up and it be Monday morning (and I don't often say that!!)

Anyway, I'm knackered, so night night and sweet dreams (I've dreamt some bizarre stuff lately by the way, but I'll have to save that for another time...!)

Alison x

July Cycle Buddies......continued!

Hi everyone, I havn't been on-line for a while as we don't have a pc at home. DH brought his laptop home this weekend so I finally get to catch up with you all.

EC went well - 8 eggs 5 of which fertilised. When I went back in on Thursday for ET - 2 had divided quickly (these were the two they put back), one was very fragmented and the other 2 were still 2 cell. ET also went very well and I was feeling very optimistic until I had a call on Friday from the embrylogist to say that 2 of the remaining 3 embryos had stopped dividing so they wouldn't be able to freeze them. I feel ok about not having any to freeze - but I can't help thinking that if 2 of them stopped growing - why would the 2 they put back be any different and they have probably stopped as well. I have to do my test on 7th August - but am finding it really hard to believe that it will have worked. I am disappointed with myself because I have always managed to stay positive.

I actually don't remember a thing about EC - apparently I was chatting away (and mentioned that I had been chatting to you all on the internet) but I do not remember anything at all which freaks me out a bit!

Dawn, I saw your message and have posted separately - but congratulations again! Hopefully there will be many more positives to come!

Alison, good luck with your test on Monday. Sending you millions of +++ vibes!

Kathryn, they told me at the hospital that the embryos will implant up to 6 days after ET. I know it is easy to say but please try not to worry about the bleeding because it isn't always bad news.

Becky, how are you doing? How did the ET go?

Love to all of you

Dolly
