Hi Girls

Hope you are all ok and enjoying your weekend.

We have got a good bunch of us on here, and lots of positive outcomes, which is really cool.

I am on day 4 day and doing ok. I think! Dh is doing the injections, he is a real star.

Hi Anna- Hope you are still doing ok with your injections. Wishing you lots of luck. I am on bureselin at the moment, on day four. Doing the long protocol not not too sure on dates yet for et. Just hoping i get that far as had nothing to transfer last time.

Hi Sophie- Hope you are doing ok with your injections. One day are you on?

Thinking of you all. Take care
lots of love christine xx

hello,

I'm so bad at posting at the moment. I am feeling pretty low and have convinced myself it's never going to work. Still no sign of AF. I'm not really thinking about it. Just waking up alot at night with sore breasts. Convinced myself the other day that I wanted a divorce but by the afternoon wondered what the hell planet I'm on. Wierd really. I'm just blocking everything out at the moment.

However, I know the next time I post I will probably have AF and maybe PMA will return.

Hope you are all okay.

Anna - Good luck with scan today. I had no symptoms whatsoever until day before EC when I started to feel bloated. I was petrified the hospital were goingto tell me off for doing it all wrong but I wasn't! Just lucky I guess!
Kelly - my first 2 afs after my ivf cycle were spot on, and then bang. Nothing whatsoever! Was such a pain in the ass! Will start jigging for you.
Sophie - I'm so sorry you're feeling down. Have you been offered counselling at all? A lot of people on this site have taken advantage and it seems to really help.
Christine - Glad to see the injections are going well!
Sue - how's it going? whens the next scan?

Will update on my m/wife app. hopefully later. If not, then I'll do it in the morning!

Anna - 5 follies is fantasic! And great sizes already! SO exciting!
Kelly - great to hear the jigging has paid off! at last you can start with the next cycle!

Midwife app. went well. Mostly form filling in actually! Have some notes now which I must "carry with me at all times!!" he he! Scanning units at my hospital are extremely busy and prob. won't get an app. for 2 weeks or so, so have decided to pay privately and actually have the nuchal fold scan and blood test. Have just made this for tomorrow pm but won't get the results until Thursday evening so don't panic if I don't update!

Happy Tuesday to all!

Cla - good luck for tomorrow. For your peace of mind, it's well worth going private. Look forward to hearing your update!

Sue - hope you got those pessaries? Glad to see you had a restful weekend.

Lynne - are you injecting yet? Hoping it all goes well.

Sophie - hoping that AF pays you a visit soon. Sending you loads of PMA!!!

Anna - Congrats! Carry on as you are doing and you'll have a bumper crop! That must give you such encouragement. Good luck for Wednesday.

Christine - good luck with it all. How sweet of DH to do your injections!

Kelly - am so glad that naughty AF finally showed up. Good luck with the next cycle.

All is fine with me: I enjoyed a nice long weekend in Norfolk for Mother's Day and will now wait patiently (well, will try  ) till next Thursday's scan.

hi ladies
Cla, fingers crossed for test results xx
Kelly, great news...back on the roller coaster!

Thanks for your messages. I need to ask if anyone has had an experience when at the 2nd scan for follies during stimming , that the follies haven't grown at all. Does this mean that this is it? I was sooooo disappointed today when the dr told me that my follies were the same size they were on Monday. I am on the highest dose of menopure that the dr will allow already. I have another scan on friday before they decide whether to cancel the cycle...again .... this is my 7th attempt at getting to EC. :( Do you think they will have a growth spurt? What is the normal pattern of events? Any thoughts from anyone? Please be honest, I am 42 and will be looking at egg donors soon if this doesn't work.

Our list:

- Anna - short protocol - 3rd scan for follies 31st March
- Eminde - BFP - Twins
- Stacy - BFP
- Cla - BFP - nuchal/blood test results 30th March
- Sophie - start FET tmt 16th March (ET around Easter)
- Christine - start FET tmt 23rd March
- Souris - appointment 4th April to discuss next steps
- KellyL - down regging around 16th April
- Lynne - starting injections 28th April
- Lisa(Macca8) - cycle planned for July

Hugs to all on this thread. Just think I may go mad if I didn't have this site to post on !
Thanks
keep smiling :)
bye for now

Anna,
It's quite common I think for follies to take their time. To be honest I thought yours were very large considering you'd only been stimming for a few days. Mine were all 8 or 9 mm until about day 10. The day before egg collection they still weren't big enough so I stimmed for a couple more days. That time they'd grown to about 18-19mm so EC went ahead a few days late! My hospital like 3 follies 17mm or over if poss, so you're not actually far off that already! Keep up the good work!

Scan was fabbo yesterday. I cannot believe how much the cashew nut has developed! As dp said "oh my word, it's got arms and legs!!" Not sure quite what he was expecting but bless lol!!Not got the results back yet but early indications looked quite good. Will update when I know!

nearly the weekend - hoorah! My Mum and sisters are coming to stay this weekend so looking forward to some quality girlie time!

hope you are all well!
