Well where do I start, I worked all day wednesday till 5pm and drove with Cameron to Poole to pick her up then back again , we arrived about 11.00pm and sank a bottle or two till 2am , on Thursday we got up feeling a bit hung over and left the house to drive to Northampton for our 10am Appointment , we had growling tummies and slightly dehidrated and didnt leave till 1.00pm Then drove to Milton Kynes for Retail therapy and of course Pizza! after shopping we got home at 5.15 ,packed the car up and drove back to Poole to get her back, after a BIG coffe we set back to home again and realised that we had no food so at 11.30 pm had to do a weeks shopping !!! we got home around 12.30 and went strait to bed. as you can tell we were very tired and emotionally drained. all together we drove about 800 miles in 24 hours.
As for the clinic Meeting we had a chat with a woman who was as prickly as you like !!! she was very patronising at first but she soon warmed to us , Frazes were " Do you really know what you are letting yourself in to " HOW RUDE!!!!! " Do you realise Mandy that you will be hyper fertile and will need contraception" She replied "Yes my husband has had a vasectomy " That shut her up! and " have you read anything about the TMT?" I replied "Yes I have sent her stuff off the internet"She said "Oh no thats not good at all " I replied "Well it was off your site! " By now she knew that we ment business. Blood was taken to the cost of £409.00 "WHAT" Hart atack and died !!!!!! to test Cromazones , Blood groups, diseases, etc etc and FSH YES THE DREADED FSH!!!!!!! so Ive told Mandy to ring up for the reults as I am jinkst this will be next thursday or Friday, No Nails already. Next step is sort out the satilite clinic who is currently moving areas how convienient!!! and Cam and I have 4 appointments on 8th September Counciling etc etc , then its all systems go all being well. hopefully Sept Period due for stimming in October So I need buddies. Still dont want to get excieted in case I get let down . But I am chuffed.
Thank you for wishing me well it means a great deal
Love to you all
Trace x

you must be so tired traci!
how come the clinic employed such a cow? you would think that those that are dealing with people who are needing this tmt(which is very hard and emotional),would all be lovely! Is that to much to ask ?

glad though that it all seems to be happening for you traci, october will soon be here for you.

take care
kathryn
x

Hi Trace

Sounds like you've been put through your paces these last few days!! Bet you're glad it's all over for now!

It never ceases to amaze me the insensitivity of some of these medical people - how the hell does someone like that get a job like that?! Glad you put her straight though! Sounds like it all went quite well and showed her that you've obvioiusly thought everything through! Good for Mandy too, sounds like she did well!!

£400 for blood tests - that was a bit of a surprise, wasn't it!? Don't you start worrying about them now, I'm sure it'll be fine! Out of curiosity, are they checking your FSH again as well??

DH and I drove down to Poole a couple of weeks ago to get the ferry to Jersey - it's further away that we realised. Helluva drive to do over 2 days, with stressy appointments and lots of wine in between!! :)

Glad you managed to have some fun as well!

So, we wait for next week's blood test results now?! When do you go on hols, must be soon?

Well done Trace - every step is one step closer now!!

take care and rest up!

LOL Helen xx
