MLG,
Thanks for the encouraging words especially after the day I had today. I experienced a migraine with disturbed vision- it scared the sh** out of me. I can endure anything though if in the end the baby is fine. My first ultra sound is on Wednesday. Were you able to have the EC??? I hope all is well with you and be sure to let me know how you are doing.

Stacy
That must have been really scary. Image
Glad you're better. Image Hang in there, Wednesday is almost here, and then you'll have good news! Image

EC went OK, they got 12 eggs. Image I phoned the lab today and 9 have fertilized, so ET is on for tomorrow. Image I really hope that this time it works, or at least I have some to freeze for next time.

 Hi gang

Well am due to have my trigger shot tonight at 23.00 then Tuesday for EC. It seems to have gone by so fast this time but i bet the dreaded 2ww will drag. Have had a few cramps in my tum over the weekend and have never experienced this before but maybe its a good sign.

MLG - Glad everything went well with your ET. Your embies are snuggled up where they belong, try to relax now.

Stacy - Everything is crossed for you.

Catch up soon

Hi Girls!

MLG, I hope you are keeping busy during the dreadful and totally stressful 2ww!!!! PMA is key!!

Eminde, My headache is gone thank goodness. How are you feeling? When you went to your first ultrasound what did you measure at? My little buddy was only 1.8mm. I find that I am back to the worrying days again!

Jen, I am sure your eggs are turning into strong embies even as you read this. Lots of baby dust heading your way! I can't wait to hear how many fertilized.

I am doing fine. I went to my ultra sound today and was able to see one little fluttering embryo. The sac was funny shaped but my doc said not to be concerned. At first he thought that it was two but after looking further said it was a single embryo. That has me a little stressed, but what doesn't during this whole process? He also said that there may be another little guy that is hanging out that is not as developed. At this point I just am happy to have made it this far. I will be going back two weeks from today to see if things are progressing properly.

Hi Ladies

Stacy - The waiting and the worrying never ends, does it? Image
It was good news, do enjoy your pregnancy. Image

Jen - Good luck for ET tomorrow. Image Keep the PMA up! Image

Eminde - How are you doing? Image

I'm almost half through 2ww, it's killing me. Image The better I feel physically (after EC, ET and maybe slight case of OHSS) the worse I feel about the embies. I don't feel at all pregnant or any different than last time. Trying hard to stay positive but it's not easy. Beeing home alone probably doesn't help either! Image
PMA! PMA!! PMA!!! PMA!!!! PMA!!!!!

 Hi girls

The hospital rang this morning and informed me we will be going for ET tomorrow on the third day. I was worried the little embies are not developing but so far we have 1 5cell, 2 4cell, 2 3cell and 2 2cell.
They are gambling that they will develop into 6 cells so we have a better chance. :?

The only things is that we might not have any to freeze  . I am disappointed about this but we will find out for definate in the morning.

Will let you know how i get on and thanks for all your support and encouragement.

 Hi girls

Well i had my ET today and all went well. They put the best 2 embies back in, which are a 7 and 8 cell so we are really pleased. :D

The downside is the others will not be frozen. :(
There were 5 embies left but 2(3 cell) never matured enough, 2(4&6cell) stopped developing overnight and the last one (6 cell) has brown spots on it------dying basically but i thought it might just be freckles haha.

I am disappointed about this and the embryologist said she could freeze the 4 and 6 cell embies but freezing on day three is a risk and as they have not developed properly overnight she said there is a high risk of them not thawing and there is a greater risk they would not result in a pregnancy. Basically we could use them next time but would be wasting money and would have a better chance if we did a fresh cycle.
But hey, lets be positive there is not going to be a next time, twins here we come.

Am away to rest and let my embies enjoy being at home now.
Will be testing on the 16th April----------16days to go, nightmare
