I am new here and would really appreciate some input. I am on the 2ww of my 2nd ivf. we transferred a B7 and a B8 and froze 2 B6's and a C4 that all made it to blastocyst. My first ivf resulted in a tubal and I lost the tube. the ones we had transferred then were a A4 and a C8 (nothing to freeze). So this time the ones we transferred are supposed to be better. My question is, am I likely to have another ectopic and if it is +ive is it likely to be twins since we transferred such good embryos? If the 3 made it to blastocyst, shouldn't these 2 transferred make it for sure?? Help I am so worried about another tubal...

Hi. I am sorry I can't help with your questions. I haven't started treatment yet, so am only a novice.
I did want to say though, that I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies so my thoughts are with you.
Keep your chin up and think positive.
Sorry I wasn't much use..
We are very alike.
My first ivf last year also ended in an ectopic and I too am in the 2ww of a frozen cycle.
Regarding risk of another ectopic - I worry about this too. We are at increased risk, as is everyone who has ivf and I suppose our risk is a little higher. But we are more likely to have a uterine pregnancy than an ectopic so the odds are on our side
As for your high possibility of twins, I don't know. The risk of twins is usually around 25% I think.
Good luck with the rest of the 2ww - when do you test? You should join the April test thread on the General Forum so we can cheer you on
Thanks Lola, it does seem like we are in the same boat. I will join in the Apri test thread in the general forum, thanks for the advice. Best of luck to you, maybe we will both get BFP's!!!
