We are hoping to have 2 ICSI in a couple of months and thinking of moving from London Fertiltiy Centre, for various reasons

Anyone know anything about teh Bridge? I kind of like the sound of it, the numbers look pretty good and alot of the doctors are connected to the big teaching hospitals (namely Barts) which I guess is a good thing??
cazx
Hi Caz, I have had most of my treatment at Queen Mary's Roehampton - they are a transport IVF centre - I had EC there and then DH had to take my egg to the Bridge Centre in an incubator and then produce his sample there, and then they did the rest. Went there for ET and they all seemed very nice and pleasant and very thorough. All modern and clean. I think they have quite a good success rate, why not go an have a chat?
Hope this helps a bit, sorry I only had ET there so don't know about what they're like if you have the whole lot there.
Love, Kat xx
Me & DH both 41
ICSI #1 - abandoned
#2 - cancelled - DH accident
#3 - 1 transferred, bfn
#4 - 2 transferred, bfn
#5 - abandoned
#6 - no eggs at EC
#7 - DE in Barcelona - bfp but lost Dec'05
#8 - DE UK - bfn
#9 - FET Sept/Oct '07....
Hi I know the Bridge Centre very well had 2 ICSI there..they are really nice people and it is small so not loads of people around which is nice when you are having EC and ET as you feel extra special..
I think that there results are lower than some other centres in London ..unfortunately we didnt get a positibe and we have decided to go to another clinic if we do have a third attempt..

Good luck

Becky B
Hi Caz

I'm like Kat, have had ICSI at Roehampton with ET at the Bridge, we also had 3 IUI's at the Bridge before we went to Roehampton. We changed clinics for our last cycle (just got a -ive from ICSI) and went to the ARGC. We noticed a huge difference in both clinics, the ARGC being way better and seem a lot more thorough and professional. Even though we got a negative result I felt that I was monitored so much more and the treatment was more personalised. Hope I haven't confused you.

Best of luck for your next treatment wherever you decide to go.

Love Jen xx
