I can't believe April is nearly here, where is this year going to. Do you realise that if we get BFP's we will be due just before christmas so lets hope we have loads of spring BFP's for christmas babies. I don't know about you but it would be the best christmas present out.
Bec P Good luck. Here's to the 2nd time IUIers. I wonder if there is anyone else on their second IUI at the moment. Hope the scan went well. Are you on Meds. I did Gonal F first time around and menopour for the second.
Jen, Hope the pain has eased and good luck for the morning. Let us know how you get on.
Lola I think that time slows down during the 2ww and they add extra days in. I have to wait 19 days after IUI before I can test to make sure the HCG is out of my system. It seems like ages ago we had the treatment even though it is only 5 days, another 14 to go. Good luck on being the first April tester. Start the month off well.

April Test Dates
Hi girls,Well more good news.
The embriologist rang this morning and 7 out of 8 eggs have fertilized, we are so chuffed.
They are going to call me in the morning and decide whether ET will go ahead Thur or Fri. They want to wait and see if the embies can develop into 6 cells and put them back as there is a better chance of it working. If they put them back tomorrow as a 4 cell they don't always continue to grow. The only risk with this is that the embies don't freeze well on the third day. We are in a catch 22, want to get the best embie to put back in but don't want to lose the others??????
??????? Anyway i have explained this to her and she is aware we want to freeze some. More waiting.
Will catch up with you tomorrow night before or after my ET

Not much longer now until Monday. It will be here before you know it.
How are my fellow April testers getting on. I have got sore boobs again, but I had that last time with my BFN so not taking any notice. I went on a shoping spree today so am bound to get BFP now so that the new clothes wont fit for long. I have gone up one bra size since starting IUI so there are some benefits to the meds. I wonder if the effects will be perminant.

Glad to see the list is growing and I'm sensing a lot of PMA here, which is V GOOD!!
Jen - 7 out of 8 embies is fabulous, there's bound to be a couple of corkers in there. We had our little ones put back in when they were 8 cells and the remaining ones were frozen at the same time, do they really not freeze as well when they are more divided? I didn't know that - you learn something new every day!
Angela - yes let's hope 2nd time round is the one for us!!! I have just had my first scan, looks like still a long way to go till IUI as the follies are only 8 mm. I'm going au natrel - no drugs this time round. Will have progesterone afterwards though. My problem is more the second half of the cycle is too short as opposed to not ovulating. How many IUIs has your clinic recommended? Mine has said only 3, yet having scoured the websites the usual is 4. What are you planning on doing?

My clinic haven't said how many to stop at. Initally we thought we would only have the first one as DH's sample not too good first time around. I pushed for a second try and it was better this time so they have said at the moment we can carry on as long as we want. I guess there will come a cut off point. We are on the waiting list for IVF and get the funding for it next month, although we have 6 months to use it in. I think we will go for at least one more round of IUI and perhaps 2 as I think it will be alot less invassive that IVF. Hopefully we won't have to make this decision as it will be BFP's for both of us.

You are correct. The pressure is on us. I am a little nervous, since I've been cramping this evening. I sure hope that AF is not on its way. With my last IVF cycle I did not start AF until day 32 and today is only day 24.
I will probably test on Sunday morning. I hate going to the dr. and not having an idea if I'm going to get a BFN or a BFP.
My fingers are crossed for both of us.
