Third ICSI July 2005 BFP and praying it continues!! 6, 8, 12, 13(Nuchal) 20, 25 and 28 week scans successful! Emily Ann Cane born 8.4.06 - more beautiful than we could have imagined
I cant wait for it to be over, everything has gone very well with the pregnancy but I have worried so much, and now that the babies would have a high chance of being well out side the womb, i worry that something will go wrong in there. Being IVF its hard to really think the long journey might be over and that a baby (or 2) really is just around the corner. My last growth scan didnt go well on wensday and it showed my smaller twin has having not moved in weight since the US 2 weeks prior, but the tech was saying the whole time he had to make up the measurments because the big baby was laying on the little one making it impossible to get good measurments ( blah bad sp i know). So now i am waiting for next wensday and half paniced and half telling myself it was just the techs fault. I just wish i could stop worrying.
Smita, princess, CC, DeniseM thankyou so much for your warm wishes.
Try not to worry Jaymee - if hospital were very concerned they would have got them straight out so the fact that they've left them put means they are confident that things are good. You could always ring your midwife for another opinion and some reassurance. It's all so exciting, won't be long now - in fact you might end up with yours before me and jacs yet!
Best wishes

Yeah it is exciting, but i hope the doctors arent jumping the gun, the last week i have been hoping to go into labour, but i just read that they only learn their sucking reflex at 37 weeks so now I hope its ok to bring them out at 37 weeks, I really do want whats best for them, does anyone have any experience with 37 weekers?
i don't have any experience myself, but my nephew was born recently at 36 weeks and although a little small, he's perfect! He even went home 5 days after being born.
Best of luck with everything!
