Hope they are looking after you and that you will soon (If not already by now!) have your little one in your arms! The pain you've been through will all be worth it!

Hi Jacs - great to see you back - I've had similar pains to ones you mentioned on my thread - I thought it was all starting but turned out to be my baby's head descending further. I was convinced it was all happening - it's a weird sensation isn't it? I hope your pineapple works but at least you have a date now for induction and even though it's meant to be 'unpleasant' - I think it'll be fine cos we're already experiencing pains - it would be worse for someone induced earlier who was suddenly thrust into the pains without warning - at least we're getting practice so I think we'll be fine. I was due to have a stretch and sweep yesterday but they couldn't even do it cos my cervix was so tightly closed! This baby is not keen on coming out! Did you have an internal? How did you get on?

cheryl
i had an internal last week when i was in hospital and it was so uncomfortable i felt as if he was (pardon the expression) fisting me(not that iv ever been fisted ha yha )
they said that i wasnt favourable which i take it i wasnt ripe and ready so thats why they couldnt start me off
i still havnt done the pineapple as iv had visitors all day so feel a bit buggered now mite hav a little lie down
pain has eased off a bit and im able to hobble a bit more,i think the bucket can go back in the shed as im able to go slowly up and down the stairs,,now is when i wished id put that downstairs loo in
so just a case of plodding on and playing the waiting game

Great to hear you back on the boards Jacs and glad you're feeling a little better - did you notice your update thread? Once you've had av look we could sign that one off and maybe focus on this one but just thought you might like to read the messages people posted while you were in hossie. I am definitely goiing to decline any further internals (not examinations but where they fiddle and try and make something happen) I will just wait for nature to take it's course. I'm also swelling up like a balloon and covered in spotty rashes after having a really easy time whole way through - its very annoying to be suffering now but at least it makes me more determined to get this little one out.

Best of luck with everything when it happens - wouldn't it be funny if you, me, Olivia and Jaymee all ended up with births on Friday?!
