Having Twins ... How early can they come?

Hi everyone...

I will be 28 wks pregnant with my precious little ones, a boy and a girl , tomorrow. I'm still quite shocked that it has come around so fast... but that just means that it's even closer to d-day!!!

I know that twins usually come a little early, compared to single babies, but how early has anyone else's little one's come along???

Whether single or more... did anyone have really early arrivals?? The further along I get I start getting so freaked out that every twinge is a sign!!! I hope that they don't decide to come and pay mummy a visit TOO soon, I would like them to get a bit fatter first!

I have already had one false alarm and ended up going into hospital at midnight and I was just under 27 wks then... and I really don't want a repeat of that... scared the life out of me!!! it was enough to send me into early labour itself!!!!

I am 36 weeks + 1 day with boy/girl twins, I have read that 50% of twins come before 37 weeks and 50% after. Now that you have reach the important 28 week mark your babies will be fine if born (although have a lot of Nicu time). The most important things to do to go full term (37 weeks) with twins is to rest and drink heaps of water, I know its a hard and long pregnancy but every week in their really helps them. I am being sectioned now at 37 weeks exactly, but they were going to make me wait until 38 + 4, I feel i would go to 40 weeks with these twins I have made it so comfy for them .

you are in a very safe zone now so just try and relax and the last 10 weeks will go quite fast.

And dont feel guilty if you find yourself wishing them out early (around 32-34 weeks) children never do as you say .
