Melissa - I am jigging like crazy for you dear! Why is it AF never shows up when we want it to?

Danielle - as you know my EC was pushed back a day too because they wanted that one extra day to cook. It was well worth it though. I think it is safe to take an HPT 14 days after the trigger shot. So since i took my trigger shot on 3/28, I could do an HPT on 4/12 (just to make sure I wait 14 full days). My scheduled blood test is 4/13 so I may just wait for that. I am afraid of getting a false result. From what I have read on here - false results on HPTs happen a lot!

And to answer your last question - I am going to have 2 put back. (Love the comparison to a slot machine - lol!) How many are you thinking about doing?

Well I am off for the weekend. I will be back at work on Monday, then off Tues, Weds, and maybe Thurs due to ET. Since I am still stuck in the stone ages and don't have a computer at home, I won't be able to check the boards after Monday - but I will be thinking about all of you and wishing you luck with ECs, Ets, 2ww, AF's, injects, etc.

Hope everything is going fine for everybody.

Congratulations to +VE ladies and sorry for the ones who didn’t make it this time.

Just to update you all. I had my scan today. Cannot believe my eyes and ears that I’ve had 33 follicles. Some of them are about 15-19 and lot of them are 7-12. At the scanning room I was so nervous that the quality of eggs may reduce as more follicles I have & that my heart beat very fast and didn’t remember much what the nurse was saying to me & had to ask Dh to speak to her again. Anyway, my EC is gonna be Monday 03/04 & hopefully I’ll have some embryos to transfer this time.

Good luck for 2ww girls & get BFP. Recovery well soon for those who had EC or will have & have lots of good embryos. All the best for those who are still waiting for AF, down Rg (sorry not mentioning everybody’s name)

Go out and buy yourself a very pretty expensive pair of White undies..
Put them on.. AF will come a running! It never fails to work for me!

I am going to put 2 back as well Lisa. That way the only way I would end up with Triplets or more.. Is if someone upstairs plays a big joke on me!

You don't have to stay in bed for days after your ET do you? I thought it was only an hour rest kind of thing..

I am so glad your just a step ahead of me!

Got my scan this morning, Lots of Follies.. Over 15 on one side and 10 on the other.. One was 30mm.. That would explain the discomfort I guess. Doing EC on Monday ad ET on Thursday or Saturday.. Depending on what happends I guess.

Have just been trying to catch up on the news of this week.

Melissa - hoping AF is on the way for you at last.
I'm on cycle day 43 and no sign of AF. Have been wondering if I'll be missing one cycle altogether. Went for scans/tests today and the Dr. has decided I should take the pill (!) for 3 weeks before starting stimulating again. I have read about the advantages of this somewhere but still having problems getting my head around the way it's supposed to work.
A business trip I have to organise for End April now looks like it's going to clash with treatment. Aghh! But maybe I can just keep on taking the pill until I can start the next cycle. Anyone any ideas on this?

Hello all, I've just been given the go ahead to start stimming!!! It's my 3rd try and I have a new re and very much PMA!! my last try was June of 05 and I can't believe it's almost been a year already, I'm sooooo ready to try again and make this work once and for all!!!
I had to go in for bw this am because I hadn't started af yet and I stopped bcp's as of Tues. I got a call from the nurse and she said my prog was .3?? and my e2 was 43 which she said was good...don't ya know that I started af a couple of hours ago...an hour drive there and back...oh well better to be safe. I'm taking follistim 450 and luveris 75 anyone else with these two meds???

hi all, just trying to catch up on all the news as I have been offline since I had my FET last Wed.

Daly - that's great news on the BFP, and a good tip re relaxing, I took two days off work and then had the weekend after the FET to hopefully let the little one settle in and attach!

Lisa B - good luck with your ET, look forward to hearing from you when you're back on line. My doc has scheduled me for the first blood test this Wed - only 1w after the ET which seems rather early, don't think it can be too conclusive...

Jen - great to hear your ET went well - think positive about these ones, I also think Easter is a v good sign!

Diane - I just saw your last post - are you an american having treatment in australia?? I am an Aussie having treatment in NY! After starting my treatment in Melbourne we moved to the Us and had our embies trasferred across here. The website you recommended www.haveababy.com is actually the clinic I am thinking of moving too if this latest one doesn't work out - they seem to be pretty leading edge and have done research into this thin uterus lining/Viagra treatment that may be my next resort! their fees are through the roof though...

To everyone else on the list, sending positive thoughts your way and looking forward to hopefully seeing some BFPs postings in the coming weeks.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Hope the follies were growing big and are ready to come out and fertilize!

Sammy, I used Follistim and responded really well to it. It's expensive though! They started me off at 300 then down to 275 for 2 more nights and came in the next day for blood work and my E2 was already at 450 so they backed me off.

Danielle - hope your EC goes great today! Let us know the results!

I am looking forward to my appt tomorrow. Hoping my lining is where they want it to be. Have heard several ladies having trouble with their lining getting thick so I am praying all is well tomorrow.

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Danielle - good luck with EC and ET. I think you will do great! As for the rest thing - my clinic recommends 2 days of light activity - pretty much laying around, and they want me to stay home from work for 72 hours. Of course - no sex for the next few weeks.

I have 7 embryos - 6 graded excellent and 1 graded poor and, as of yesterday, they were all dividing and doing what they were supposed to. It touches my heart when the lab calls to update me on them. I really already feel like they are my kids.

We received some bad news - my dh's best friend passed away yesterday. He was very ill, and had been suffering for some time so we knew it was coming. Still, it is never easy. He was only 35, and leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters.

Needless to say - my ET tomorrow seems sort of bittersweet. We are excited, yet sad. The funeral will most likely be the end of the week - so i figure I may be off work (therefore offline) until next Monday.

Ren - thanks for wishing me well. Hope you are resting and taking it easy during your 2ww.

Good luck and best wishes to everyone with your cycles, etc. I will have all of you in my thoughts this week.

I found the trick I wore white and the smallest pair of undies (thong) I could find. AF arrived! I am excited now. So tomorrow I go for my ultrasound and labs I should stimming tomorrow. Its getting closer.

Taptim - I hope everything is going well. 33 is alot of follies to me.

Lisa - Sorry to here about DH's friend. That must be really hard for you guys. Maybe he will come back in a new form as your new child.

It's funny what you said about dh's friend coming back as our child - that is EXACTLY what my hubby said. He thinks this timing has all happened for a reason.

I believe it is possible. It will help me to be hopeful.

Lisa - Good luck for tomorrows ET, let us know how you get on if you are up to it.

I had my 7 and 8 cell embies put back on the third day transfer last Friday. So if i have done my calculations right then its today or tomorrow they should be implanting. I read that after this occurs you can get tingling in the breasts, swollen tum, spotting etc and i am looking for them desperately.

Can anyone tell me if they got pregnant but had no symptoms? Whats the norm?

Any advice would be great as i am feeling a bit low today about this all working.

Hey Everyone!

Just a quick update before I get a quick rest.

The EC went great! We ended up with 18 eggs. Only 1 was immature. We agreed to donate 5 eggs to research. So we have 12 that they will be trying to fertilize. We will find out in the morning. Then on Wednesday the will tell us if we are doing 3 day or 5 day transfeers. ( 2 eggs)

okay I need a nap.

Hi girls

Wow, so many posts in such a small amount of time - I have finally got the dates for this cycle - deffo start down regging on Sunday 16th - Easter and then base line scan on Friday 28th - looks like transfer and test during May - a New Year Baby if I get a BFP - how cool.

Congrats to the BFP's and huge hugs to the BFN's and cancelled cycles.

Hopeing everyone is doing good and huge amounts of baby dust to everyone.
