Welcome to this site, i'm sure you will find it all very helpful as you are going through all the stages of your treatment.
Although I am not from York, I am not that far away as I live in Hull.
Please feel free to ask any questions + I will do my best to answer them. Failing that I am sure there will be plenty of others on this site who will be only too pleased to help.
You will probably be best posting on the general forum,now that you have introduced yourself.

I am not in York but faily close in Harrogate. I am 40 too! Have a look at the 40 something thread on the general forum.
