Thanks Esther - yes I have been worrying about that but hopefully as you say I will know the difference when it happens for real. How''s little Paris? Have you posted any pics of her? If so let me know where and I'll go and have a nose.

Its nice to know you are coping well, wishing you a quick and easy labour.

Thank you for asking after Paris, She is such a lovely baby, though she has her moments when she wants to be noticed, which are quite testing but a lovely experience, and a challenge to my mothering skills, which iam still practising.

I havent posted any pics yet, but like you said when i do I will let you know.

Paris occupies my entire day, I have to wait for her dad to relieve me so I can log on.

Hoping you give us good news this weekend.

Oh Lucy, if only! I'm so uncomfortable, swollen and itching everywhere and still no sign that anything's moving! Still, I must remember how much I've wished for this position and I must keep remembering to be grateful. Thankyou for popping by - I hope all is goiing really well for you - don't you start again soon?

Big J - I would love to see that dance but I will imagine it instead and hope that it sends me some positive vibes.

Joy - yes being induced Friday if nothing happens before - roll on then!

Olivia - how cool would that have been? We could have met up and swapped stories - oh well, at least we'll be sort of goiing through same things at same timeish so we can be virtual moral support for each other.

Good luck and best wishes all of you incase any of you get moving before me or incase I disappear for a few days (please please!)

Thanks Jen - your mesage really cheered me up - I've woken up this morning and just can't stop crying - I feel absolutely useless, like my body won't work properly and I feel such a failure. My poor DH is asleep still having taken week off to 'spend with baby' but it doesn't even look like its coming this week either! I know I should be happy and excited but every day that goes by I just keep getting more and more anxious - I really hope I snap out of this soon cos it can't be good for me or the baby. Sorry to winge.

Sorry you are feeling so crappy, perhaps today will be the day!! perhaps you should take it as a compliment from your little one that you are doing such a good job of playing host that he/she is very happy to stay put.

facing an induction is a bit scary and doesn't quite feel right but at least we will soon have our babies one way or another. I am trying everything to get him to come on his own, my consultant said the only thing she thinks would help is sex!! Physically impossible at my size, I would need an engineer to be involved!

keeping my fingers crossed for some action

Olivia - I feel exactly the same, sex would be a ridiculous possibility at the moment and might put my DH off for life! I hope something happens soon or I will go mad.

Sorry to hear you are feeling fed up. Like Olivia says, you are doing such a good job your little one doesnt want to come out!
Just make the most of sleeping and lie ins!! (although not easy to get comfy I know!). Your time will come very soon!
