Hi Ren. My clinic advises against sex during the 2ww b/c orgasm can cause uterine contractions - for one. I know that doctors have a lot of different opinions on this so, if I were you, I would just ask your doc what he/she thinks.

I had EC last Thurs, and embryo transfer tomorrow, and my clinic wants to do a blood test this Thursday too. I thought that was weird so I asked and they said they are checking progesterone levels with this test - then next Thurs. (4/13) they will check for pregnancy. Good Luck!

I got a BFN today. I knew that it was going to be negative, since I did a HPT yesterday.

Hie ladies, I am Kelsey1 under the ivf forum.....I had 5 (3good and 2 fair plus) eggs transferred on March 25th. I will be doing blood testing on April 8th...... I sure hope at least on of them makes it..........It's been a long road as you all know.

Tammy: Thanks for the congrats...but so sorry to hear of your BFN I was sick to see your results my test-buddy. Take time to heal and we'll be here if you need to vent, or of course, if you need the support. Take care of yourself, chin up and lots of ((((((HUGS))))))) coming your way.

Lola: don't lose hope yet! Honestly, I was convinced since Friday that AF was coming...felt crampy, boobs sore, etc. Even apologized to DH Friday night as we were falling asleep...you know, the usual "I'm sorry it didn't work again babe", etc. Kept thinking all weekend that she was coming...crampy on and off. But, the BFP hit today. So, keep up the PMA!

It's still a long road ahead, but I'm just so happy right now that I actually CAN get preggers...we were really worried about that.

Jen: hoping for a BFP tomorrow right along with Lola!

And MLG--you're going to wrap up the week with a smiley face as well...I'm sure of it!

Let's make April a month like no one has seen!

Are any of you girls still having ovary pains from the collection? I have had dragging period type pains ever since.

Hi Ren, it is good to have a testing buddy. Are they checking your hormone levels in the early blood test? Are you taking any progesterone supplementation?
