Eminde - where about's in Norfolk did you come for Mother's Day - I'm a Norfolk born and bred bumkin!!

Got definate dates from clinic - will start down regging on Sunday 16th - Easter Sunday and have baseline scan & bloods on Friday 28th - looks like it's gonna be May for transfer and test - how cool a New Year Baby if I get a BFP!!

hi ladies
thank you for your messages of support. They really mean a lot to me! I hope everyone is OK today.

My update - follies didn't grow and to add insult to injury AF arrived on Sat on day 14! The blood test showed a very low E2 level so there probably weren't any eggs in the follies anyway. My body really does not repsond well to any of the meds I have taken! Have been a bit lost, we hadn't planned anything as were hoping to be at ec /et stage this week. It's the school hols and am wondering around trying to find things to do. Shame I don't feel like cleaning/ironing/loft sorting/gardening!

Anyway, taking some time to chill and recharge the batteries. Have made an apptmt in May with a different clinic with a view to going down the egg donor route. Trying to stay optimistic.

Anna,

Can you believe that af bloody arrived after all the times you've had to sit and wait for her.

As you have nothing planned, how about booking a manicure or massage at a local beauty place, or treating yourself to lunch at an expensive restaurant! You need pampering!

Glad to see you're looking to the future and maybe donor eggs. I know there's lots of ladies on the over 40 thread that can give you excellent advise with this, so I'll leave that to them!

Don't stay away too long, but do take some time for RnR!!!

Kelly - fellow Norfolk Bumpkin! I'm from a little village near Wroxham in the Broads. You've probably heard of the famous Roys of Wroxham!! I love it there and go back quite often to get my UK fix!!

Hi ladies, hope you are all ok today!

Don't think I'm mad but.....went to my gp today, she is an IVF specialist, to get blood work done for apptmt with english clinic in May. Anyway she told me that she couldn't recommend the clinic I had booked with! I came home told dp and we retracked our steps/research and decided to go to IM clinic in Barcelona for egg donor tmt. My gp recommended did recommend this one!
I emailed them today and they can see us next week! Am I mad and rushing things or shall I go with the flow and book a flight? Need dp to come home from work to talk things through,phew...decisions..decisions!

Souris, how was your apptmt? Did everything go OK?

Hi , a quick update.

We have booked an appointment in Barcelona for 3rd May. We will be undergoing a cycle with donor eggs as soon as possible! Decided to postpone from next week so we can get our heads round things, get blood etc sorted and book decent flights.
Got an appointment at Queen Mary's on Tues to put to bed all things IVF with my eggs!

Cla, thanks for good idea. I have a facial and massage already booked! Congratulations on test results, you must be thrilled!

Hello my new year buddies!!

I haven't been around for a while - hit rock bottom really - been quite depressed about the whole thing, plus I have had tonsillitis, migraines, no AF for a while and a cyst on left ovary.

But... good news is AF finally came, had a scan today and cyst has gone so I am set for ET on APril 22nd. Feeling a bit better about things. Hardest part was yesterday when I had lunch with all my girlfriends. One of them announced she is pg, and I just thought - It should be me saying that!!

Oh well.

Anna - devasted to hear your news - I say go to Barcelona!!!!!!!! Just keep on going while you have the energy and inclination. PLEASE keep us updated!!!!!!!!

Cla - pleased everything is okay - good for you!

Kelly - lets hope for new year babes!!!!

Sophie, good to see you post. Sorry to see you have been under the weather...but onwards and upwards now! I know what you mean about friends and pregancy news. One of my colleagues at work just texted me to tell me she had seen a heartbeat on her first scan. Of course she is thrilled and I just think why not me

Anyway, lets banish those negative thoughts! We will get there. Wishing you loads of luck with this cycle. Not long to wait now. Here's to a BFP

I started on tabs to thicken lining on wednesday and go for a scan on 19th april. If all ok poss et on 22nd. Fingers crossed.
