Hi allison, Yes follistim and all the drugs are so expensive...but it's good to know that it worked well for you I'm very fortunate to have excellent health ins and all I pay is $20-35 no matter what the meds are!!! and I don't pay for ivf at all...3 trys are covered 100%.

Hi gals,

Sorry I've not been around for a while. Just an update on my ET (on Thu 30 Mar). We originally had 6 embies, but 3 of them started fragmenting before the ET... so we were left with 3.. all 3 were put in... I was disappointed that we didn't hv any extra to freeze, but on the positive side, all 3 embies were grade 1... so we're keeping our fingers crossed!

Congrats to all the BFP-ers! and *hugs* to those that didn't get a +ve this time...

LisaB, great news abt your embies! hope u sail thru your ET and have a gd rest!

Rouge congrats on the 3 little embies in the oven! Take it easy and let them settle in!

I got great news today...my scan showed lining to be 8.8mm and they said I needed to be at least 8mm. So I am good to go for transfer. I am pushing it back 2 days so I won't have to take off so much work so I start my prog. shots Sat. and transfer is scheduled for 11:00 04/13. Can't believe it's next week! Now all of a sudden this is sneaking up on me!
So my next big thing I will be praying for is that the 2 little embies survive the thaw! Always something that keeps me on my knees in prayer!!

Just to update everyone. I had 2 embies put back yesterday and 4 embies left to be freezed. I’m now on a scary 2ww and feel fortunate that I’ve arrived at this stage.

Mallisa your thong did a trick! Well done. Sending lots of follicles and eggs to you.

LisaB good luck with your ET and baby dust to you.

Danielle your EC is the same day as mine. Hope everything went well for you and good luck.

Kelly it’s great that you finally have dates to start. All the best.

Jen 7 & 8 cells put back is great to me and wish you get BFP and have a good time with your Dh.

Isn't it too early to test?? They don't do a blood test on me til 9 days after transfer. Can't it change?
I am so so sorry...I really had a good feeling about your FET. Makes me nervous about mine.

I had my ET today, I had 2 eggs transfered. They said they were good eggs.. They didn't tell me a grade like everyone else has on here, just 1 with 8 cells and one with 9 cells.

Im now home resting and wanted to update my test day to April 18th.

Hi everyone,
Well, have been for a scan today and all is not well!
The lining of my womb has a mass on it which they think is a polyps, so my FET has been pursponed until they have removed it . This means it will be a month or 2 before i can start again. I am so dissapointed as i have done alsorts this time for the best possible result like giving up alcohol and caffeinne, eating organic and doing yoga etc. I feel cheated as i had convinced myself that this time was "the one".
Anyway am going to enjoy a bottle of wine tonight although it's been that long since i had a drink that i'll probably be tipsy after 1 glass!
Good luck to everyone, i will be popping in now and again to see how everyone is doing!

Hi everyone. It's my first day back since ET on Tuesday. I am driving myself crazy already on the 2ww judging every cramp, twinge, etc even though I know it is probably too early to have any symptoms.

I got sore breasts and cramps the day after I started the progesterone shots - which was last Friday. Then I had ET on Tuesday and yesterday was really the first day the the cramps went away. I feel little "twinges" every so often and I am of course wandering if it is my 2 little embies burrowing into my uterine lining. My test is next Thursday - and I am still having the great "HPT debate" with myself. Some people think I should - most people think I shouldn't. I think I will take it easy over the weekend and see how I feel about it by Monday.

Danielle - glad to hear ET went well. Give me a call this weekend

Hey Allison, thanks for your note. I think the testing after one week is something to do with the fact that I'm on an artificial cycle perhaps? I think they can tell definitely if you are a BFN that early but they can't tell definitely if you are a BFP that early so in my case, since they were expecting the BFN (due to v thin lining) they probably figured why make me wait 2w...that's what I think anyway...

Lucy - I am so bummed! My FET buddy...that is such devastating news! I know it's not the end of the road but I am sure 2 months sounds like a long way away. Man I was hoping we'd be able to test together. Well at least they can fix it and make everything perfect for next time. Just look at it as a blessing in disguise...another obstacle to hurdle over to becoming a mom!! Somehow I think all the bumps, hurdles, setbacks we deal with on this rollercoaster ride are getting us ready for motherhood. Have a glass (or bottle!) of wine for me!!!

Ren, So what's next for you? Are you going to look into changing clinics? There has got to be other ways of getting the lining thicker. I pray whatever you decide God gives you the desires of your heart and makes all your plans succeed!

Lisa, I remember analyzing every cramp and twinge too! My advice is try not to stress over it. Hard not to stress your 1st time around but you gotta try! I am sure I'll be doing the same thing too next week!!

I am so glad it's Friday!!! So the weekend will fly by and then before you know it I will be going for my transfer on Thursday. My big thing I keep thinking about is the thaw and hoping my embies survive ok. But really I told DH last night I really feel positive, every time I start to doubt that this will work - I just say no out loud and I feel better! I start the prog. shots tomorrow - not looking forward to that but it means I am that much closer to transfer!!
