Welcome to Miel, Mafalda and Jess. It is so good to log on and find out that you no longer have to do this all on your own and there are others out there who know what you are feeling. Malfada - sorry that you are having to wait - sure that it will be worth it in the end for you & the rest of us.

Prissy - hope that baseline scan is all in order for you tomorrow. Still a week to go for me even until I reach this hurdle but time moving along a bit faster as I am quite busy at work. And being helped by knowing that the moment that work gets boring I can log on and see what is happening with all my new cyber pals.

Lucy - Have not even given a thought yet to how much time I will take off work for 2ww - happy to hear what others have done??? and take advice. 11 hours is bad for me - but does happen way too often. Looking to go to 3 days per week after Easter so that I give myself less stress and more help if I can.

Welcome to the April/May buddies. Have my fingers & toes crossed that this is going to be third time lucky for you.



This is first time through for me so I am new to all this. Found this site just a couple of weeks ago. So read for a week & then could not hold back any longer and so dived in. It is SO helpful & everyone is so supportive. I now try to check in everyday. Usually at the end of the day - but today I only lasted until lunch time when work was very dull so thought that I would come and catch up with everyone instead.

I have been DR since March 25th as I am on a long cycle. Buserlin injections. Legs looking very unattratice - nice black/blue/yellow patterns on both legs already. Tried tummy - may be more there to work with - and that seems to be working better.

Are you on injections to DR or something else?

Anyway nice to have you with us.

Prissy - let us all know ho your scan went? and those injection tips as well!!!

R u doing your tmt in London? My clinic is in London, we are living in Germany though (we do a bit of traveling each time*g*)

Third time lucky sounds good. Fingers crossed for you that once will be enough for the little one you long for.

I am on a long day 21 start cycle with Buserelin Injections, then Gonal F. I´ve got pcos so got to be very carefull when on stimms. Always takes a long time (17 days on Gonal F last time round)

I always do tummy injections, its big enough so it doesnt hurt much *lol*

Wow!

Having been away a few days and come back, I see all sorts of things have been happening. Its nice to see all the new 'faces' here.

Unfortunately, my consultant thinks I should have a hysteroscopy to check out that polyp/whatever. He said that sometimes they have, after many years, been known to turn cancerous, so it is best to have it removed.

So that will put my cycle back by a month. Now I've started on this thread, it seems a shame to leave, but I guess technically I am not one of you anymore. Am I? I start down regging now at the end of May/beginning of June. Maybe I'll just watch you all go through it before me!

Hello girls,

I updated my part of the list.
Update on me:
on CD3 the Dr found 3cm cyst and they called me after their meeting wanting to see me Tuesday morning. It was go or no go depending on how the cyst was going. Needless to say I could not sleep, I was so worrried.

Yesterday was very busy and eventful day. The u/s showed cyst 2.1x1.9cm. it is shrinking. So, it is a Go:)

The nurse called and said that my last BCP willl be next Tuesday. Wow, 10 days earlier than I thought. Shecontacted the pharmacy and I am geting my medications box on Friday and will satrt them the following Friday or Saturday.

The nurse said I would not be on Lupron (hmhm, what other supression is out there??). The pharmasist said I am stimming with garorex. Now I have to do some research about this.

Sofia- I am sory that your cycle gets canceled. I was border line but it's a go now. I understand your disapointment. Hungs to you.

Sallyc- I also do tummy shots. I am a very slow responder. Last time with 450ui Gonal-F I got only 6 eggs.

CarolynB- do you do the shots yourslef or DH does it? What does DR mean? I am from the USA and cannot think of what that would be:). Thanks. DH does all of my shots.

Afternoon everyone

Sally - Yep I am having treatment in London. I am at IVF Hammersmith. It was where my GP refered me at the start. People there are very nice and only takes about 15 mins in the car from home so I have it loads easier than you. Which clinic are you being treated at? Sounds like we are in somewhat the same boat. I have pcos too so guess it will have to be done slowly if i get as far as stimmies. My buserlin started on Day 2 not 21. 12 done - 6 to go before they check me out for my scan!

Sofia - I was so sorry to see that your cycle has been put back by 1 month. Best that they check it all out for you now. Fingers crossed that all is ok. Why not stay with us so you can give us lots of encouragement. You can always join the other June thread too.

Vessi - I do the shots myself. dh cannot even look. I used DR for down regulating. I think that is right but i am new to all this & trying to pick up the abbreviations as I go along. It is nice that dh does the shots for you. Sometimes they are not so brave! I am on Buserlin rather than Lupron for suppression so afraid that I cannot help there.

Prissy - waiting to hear how your scan went today. Fingers crossed that all is well.

HI Ladies,

Thanks for the invite caroline to join the tread. I am new to all of this, so excuse me if I don't understand all the acronyms, oh and my spelling.

Well I started my Down Regs (think thats what you call them) Brusalin
13th March, then started the Gonal F on 31st March. I went back for my first scan on day 5 of the Gonal F 2nd April, But not reponding very well to the drugs. So they have up'd the dose to 450iu. Go back for another scan on Friday, hopefull will get a date from there. If all goes well should be due to have EC next week some time. Fingers crossed, there will be something to collect.

Oh, how do I get on of those ticker things?
