Lola and Angela - I'm so sorry to hear your news and am thinking of you both. :(

renata

ps. Allison - congrats on the FET date, just before Easter so you can relax, lie around and eat chocolate all weekend afterwards. I read somewhere that women who eat chocolate during pregnancy have calmer, happier babies!

 Hi girls

Well still have 11 days to wait, its torture, wish they were able to tell if its worked or not already, save all the waiting.

I am heading off to Gleneagles Hotel with my gorgeous DH until Sunday to get pampered.

Fingers crossed and good luck to MLG, Kelsey and Jessica. I will catch up with all your BFP results when i get back  .

Hi Everyone

Hope you're all ok and surviving the 2ww.

I'm probably not going to be around as much for a while - have exams in a few weeks and have to study (too old!!) so could someone do the individual test threads?

Good luck all!! Will be popping in to send pma, baby dust and see all the easter BFPs :D

Lots of love

Hi Bec

AF came on Sunday, only spoting to start with but full on today. To start with I felt ok but today feel really really crap. I think it is hitting me hard as we can't start on the next cycle straight away as the clinic is closed over Easter. Also we have had a letter today to say we are at the top of the waiting list for IVF, but I am worried that we won't get the funding as DH didn't change his doctors when we moved over 3 years ago. He stayed with the practise he has been with all his life and left his address as his mums. Doctors did know but have now said he has to move and he is changing to my practise. The problem is that his old practise is in a different area to mine so there could be a problem with the funding. What a nightmare. I feel really let down by him as I told him 3 years ago to change doctors so that we would be ok for IVF, but he thought he knew best because he had been with his doctors all his life. I can't believe all I have gone through to get this far, including having to lose a ton of weight, only to find that we may fail to even get the funding.

Sorry to go on so much. Hope everyone else is having a better time than I am.

Angela

Angela - are you sure it will make a difference which doc you are registered with? This morning DH and I had our first NHS appt! I got the impression it was where you lived and which doctor the woman was registered with that mattered. Quite frankly, they only asked DH what he weighed, if he smoked etc, they didn't ask him where he was registered. The referral letter was in my name and it was my name on the appt. It only takes a couple of weeks to re-register with a new GP practice as we've just done it as we've just moved.

Please don't get yourself upset about it. I'm sure it's going to work out. It's fabulous news that you're top of the list for IVF. We've just been told they'll put us on the list in July if we've had no success by then and that it could take up to 2 years to get a free treatment as they prioritise for older women and I'm only 32!

Hopefully it won't get to that point though. IUI #2 this afternoon! What a day we've had.

Take care
x

Hi all, just updating for my BFN. Had blood taken yesterday (at 1w on artificial cycle) and it was negative so they said to stop taking all the drugs.

Back to the drawing board...

Love and lots of good luck to everyone else, I'll be thinking of you all. Thanks for all your support.

Hi all,

just need to vent a little - No matter how many times I have been through this time everytime is as nerve racking as the first!!!! I am hoping and praying for a a BFP on sunday - trying to ignore symptoms and signs at the same time - cause I don't want my hopes crushed either....My boobs are only slightly tender - and I can't remember how sensitive they were when I was pregnant before and when they became really sore....I have some "AF like" cramps every now and then - but I had those last time and find more often than not its gas or my pants are too tight....Think I have had some round ligament pain - which I had last time I was pregnant, nausuea occasionally at night - but is it all in my head??? My progesterone on Monday was 59 and that is great - it would need to drop down to 2 before AF will show - so again I am praying that these "discomfort" more than cramps is in fact me being pregnant....Well just needed to rant a little, I am driving myself nuts!!! at least sunday isn't so far away - 3 more sleeps...Last time I did an HPT the am of my blood test and it was positive - I had a much easier day waiting for that result - I am planning on doing this again....

Any thoughts, comments?? Similar feelings??

I have been pushing on my poor boobs to see if something is there - I feel it most when bra-less (I know TMI)

Keep the faith girls!!!

Jessica I know how you feel! Analyzing every little twinge! I haven't even gotten to my transfer date yet and I was standing by the copier at work and felt like little AF pains...kinda like when I ovulate I get those too. I was like oh my gosh, what was that!? HAHA I guess my body is ready to get this over with and tired of being held back like this.

Well I know I will be testing early...that day was the LONGEST day of my life and then I got a BFN so it was just awful. Especially since everyone around me was going, "Don't worry...you are pregnant. It's gonna be positive!" You wanna scream...SHUT UP you dont know that!!! :x

I bet even testing tomorrow or Saturday would give you good results - just to ease your mind. I know I know I am not a good influence, I am just so impatient too!

Hope these last days fly by honey!

Hello ladies

So sorry Ren. Look after yourself.

Hope the 2WW for everyone is not driving you too craaazzeee.

I just had to post and share my news. Just had IUI ~2 and they have told us to go away and try naturally as they don't see we need the help anymore!!

DH's morphology was 25% today!!! We just can't believe it. It was only 8% last year. What a difference not drinking and taking vitamins makes! After the sperm preparation he had, wait for it, 99% swimming!! UNBELIEVABLE . Our doctor was nearly speechless. We just can't take it in. I tell you, if one of these little blighters doesn't make it, I don't know what will!!!

Going to go stick my legs in the air and think positive thoughts!

Take care
x

Hi everyone,
Well, have been for a scan today and all is not well!
The lining of my womb has a mass on it which they think is a polyps, so my FET has been pursponed until they have removed it :( :( . This means it will be a month or 2 before i can start again. I am so dissapointed as i have done alsorts this time for the best possible result like giving up alcohol and caffeinne, eating organic and doing yoga etc. I feel cheated as i had convinced myself that this time was "the one".
Anyway am going to enjoy a bottle of wine tonight although it's been that long since i had a drink that i'll probably be tipsy after 1 glass!
Good luck to everyone, i will be popping in now and again to see how everyone is doing!
Lots of PMA to all you girls!
Love LucyC x x
