Joy update

Great news!!

Joy had her baby yesterday at 3:57 pm! He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and is 21" long!

She sore, but seems quite happy! I'll let her post the official birth story when she feels up to it!

Welcome to the world Joey - your mommy and daddy have waited a long time for you. You'll have alot of "aunties" following you, you're such a miracle!!

So proud of you, Joy! Job well done.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your warm wishes. We just got home today. I went to the doc for my normal check up on Wed and was having some contracts but was not dialated in the office. He sent me to L&D for monitoring and within 2 hours I was 2 centimeters I was already going to have the c -section so they told me I would have him in a half hour.
Mind you I told DH he didn't need to come to the appointment. Oh boy big mistake. While waiting for DH to get there Joey's heart rate dropped a bit so I told them to take me back and get things moving. DH did get there in time and got to be in the or with me for all of it.
Joey is beautiful. He was in the special care nursery for a while because he was breathing to heavily. He was there the whole time so I had to go to him to feed him and stuff. It was very hard to leave him there. He is doing wonderful now sleeping peacefully with his daddy. He is a healthy eater loves his food. I will post pics soon.,

wonderful to hear you are all home safe and sound.
I hope you are feeling ok from your c-section and baby Joey is giving you some rest. Savannah and Luc arent sleeping at night and for the last four days i have only had about 3 hours at the most at night. They sleep fine during the day.

Thank goodness the babies are soooo precious to make it all worth while.

Cant wait to see your pictures.
