I had my ET on friday and was wondering when does implantation take place? Does everyone get cramps or bleeding at this stage. Im new to all of this and am an extreme worrier, so if anyone could help that would be great. My DH has left me for the first time to go back to work and my mind is racing.
Try to relax, i know its easier said than done but it helps these little embies.
They say implantation can happen from the 5th day onwards.
I had my ET on the 31st March and on the 7th i had a small pink show then nothing. Also yesterday i had a brown show then nothing. The girls and books tell me this is normal and can be due to implantation so am praying.
Every girl gets different symptoms and some have none and still get a bfp. I have so far had shooting pains in the tum are, back ache, bloating, boob tingling and pre-menstrual symptoms but all these are normal apparently. I keep thinking my AF will turn up but so far, nothing, hope it stays this way.
Good luck, let me know how you get on. When do you take your test?

I was just wondering this yesterday too and found on the internet that implantation happens after the embryo becomes a 5 day blastocyst and around the 6th day hatches. It then around the 7th day should be attaching itself to the uterine lining. I have 5 day blastocysts that are frozen right now and I was wondering the same thing - when should I expect implantation. So those 1st few days after transfer are the most important when you have 5 day transfers because implantation should be occuring in next couple days to follow. If you have having a 2 or 3 day transfer, then it would be longer - just try and figure out when your 6, 7, 8, days are - thats when it should happen.
But of course every woman is different and implantion can occur up to 10 days after fertilization. Nothing is for sure I have found on this IVF rollercoaster we are on!!
Next time you are in with the dr., ask him/her and hopefully it will make more sense than what I just tried to explain!!
Scooby - to add to the what the other girls already told you - no, not everyone gets implantation bleeding/cramping. I have several friends who have had babies and half of them had spotting, and half didn't. One friend never had any symptoms throughout her whole pregnancy!
I know how mind-boggling and stressful all of this is since I am in my first (hopefully last) 2ww - try to relax and I am sure everything will be fine.

I have been looking really hard for anything... any kind of color on my "knickers" I even started wearing a pad so I could see it better.. Nothing... I have nothing .. but thats okay too I guess.. because it there was something.. It would be a OMG there was something.. Post...
SO for now... Im just going to be glad im not a worrier... ( yea right!)
I have not previously had any implantation bleeding that made its way out and yes implantation does occur between day 5 and day 6 - it then continues to burrow into the uterine lining (kind like wild vines)

Actually it may vary from clinic to clinic - at my clinic, the day of egg retrieval is day 0 - the next day is considered day 1 cause that is the first 24 hours of fertilization - so just to be safe I count it that way
