Thanks for all you support girls - it has been confirmed - BFP!! I am so ecstatic - feels totally surreal. :D

HCG = 260 which is apparently quite high. Only had 1 embie transferred...maybe it split!!? :)

Anyway, I just read online that high levels can mean nasty things - different sites give different normal ranges - so I have decided to go in for another test on Friday to make sure the levels are doubling normally. Might seem silly but guess after so long waiting for this result, just want to be reassured that it really isn't too good to be true...

What were other peoples levels at 16DPO?

Thanks again - you are all fantastic - good luck with your BFPs!

Congratulations Libby!

Enjoy!

My levels are really low (still don't know if normal pg :( :? ) so can't compare to yours. The "normal" levals vary greatly so don't worry.

Thats such great news! Congatulations to you both. Looks like spring is in the air!

Your numbers look all good! (in my humble opinion). Its more important how high they are climbing rather than an individual number. On day 14 dpo (test day) I was 165 hg, and around 900 by 16 dpo. Doctor said these numbers were all good.

The clinic sent me a curve graph charting typical hcg levels across first 54 days. On 16 dpo it indicates 3 curves - strong (600 hcg) ; average (150), and lower (40 hcg) all of which are normal. It will depend on whether you implanted earlier or later, coz thats when the hcg starts to be released. See if they can recheck in a couple of days coz its the doubling rate (every 36 - 48 hours) which is the important aspect.

Never mind though, I think there has to be something to worry about! If its not GETTING pregnant, then its hcg levels and STAYING pregnant!

Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! CONGRATULATIONS!

Best advice I can give is believe your dr's and stop reading the nasties on the internet....just be happy that your numbers are doubling as they should be....You clinic/dr will tell you when you should be concerned....My first HCG on 14DPO was 187 and 16DPO was 439 which these numbers are both great and healthy - they are also in line with my last pregnancy which was normal!

Thanks for the reassurance girls - my numbers don't look too high after all! Still going in on Friday to check that they are doubling anyway, but am feeling totally happy and positive - so looking forward to a Christmas baby :D

MLG I am saying little prayers for you whenever I think of you so hoping to see your numbers nice and strong next time.
