I had the same problem. I could have had 10 girls and given them all names. I thought I was gonna have another girl, so only started thinking of boys names after the scan. Anyway, boys names I liked but DH didnt were - Harvey, Vinnie, Charlie, Jayden, Connor, Xander and Isaac. Boys names we both liked were - Jake, Jamie, Alex and Elijah.
We finally chose Ryan Alexander
Its hard, but at least you get 9 months to think about it!
Good luck

Well, isn't it funny how it's so different for every couple...
We only agreed on ONE name with our first (girl): Lucy (her middle names are those of both DH's and my grandmothers).
Now that we're hopefully having No.2 later in the year we're totally stuck on girls' names and have some boys names in mind (not an awful lot though), so let me know your netball teams' names!
Cheers,
bina

Hi Charlie and Richard

isn't it a lovely problem to have

we are having a boy - confirmed again yesterday saw ALL the bits  as he waved them at us during the U/S  (proud like his dad heh heh)

yeh well names - bugger aint it - I too have millions of girls names, we also have to find something that works in Uk and germany as dh is german and we live over here, so I like Josh for example but the germans pronounce J as Y so is becomes YOSH - not quite the same thing eh?? I get fed up with being called YULY instead of Julie, so dont wnat to do that to my son. Also V is a W is German so victor ceomes Wictor (the wimp...) hey ho..

so far we have Markus as a second name (German spelling) and I am looking at Anglo Saxon names witha common root...will keep you posted.

trempted to go for something totally off the wall like Henry, I don't want a popular name.

Boy names are difficult...although it is very early in the game for us, we still discuss names...like BigJ we live in Germany and will later move to Italy so we need names which are 'international'. Dh wants his father's name...but I refuse because 1. he doesn't even want a grandchild and 2. I really dislike his name. For girls we are thinking about Sophie or Isabella.

I like traditional, old English names so will start researching once we know what the baby is....although I had a dream we had a boy and named him Avery. Which turns out to be becoming a very popular name (so it is now not in the running).

Also sometimes you just don't know until the baby arrives :D
