Yep, I have labs and US wed. and I start Progesterone tomorrow. I will find out if the lining is thickening like it should. Only 6 more days til I get my 3 beautiful blasts!!

hi girls

just dropping in quickly before i go to the hospital. things are not looking good....aaagggggghhhhh!!!! i'm not sure if i still have the cysts as they are either masquerading as follies or they've gone awol, on monday the doc wasn't sure but yesterday another one said they'd gone and i've 4 follies. so possibly good news but now it seems that my endometrium, which was good on monday, was not thick enough yesterday. so it all depends on today. why is everything so complicated????? anyway if they give me the ok, i'll have ec on friday. watch this space..........

jackie, keep up the pma. sounds like you're doing great.

anna, good news about your hospital doing your scans. it must make you feel v positive having support from them. now all you have to do is make it back alive from the school residential......!!

mitzy, good luck with et. anna's so right, it only takes one. feet up and get dh working!

We booked our flight and hotel for Spain last night. It all suddenly seems very 'real'...does that sound silly? Can't decide whether to be excited or terrified. Roller coaster here we go again!!!

Well I had my scan and BW today. My lining is at 11 which is better than my last FET!! Everything looks good and I will go back to the DR on Friday for another scan. Very excited about MONDAY!! I cant believe we are here already!!

I went to the nurse today to get my bloodwork done to take with us to Barcelona. Actually managed to talk to her about all tmt without getting emotional/crying/welling up etc... , wow, that has to be a first We are now one step closer!

well girls

this cycle is over for me. the docs cant explain it, one day my endometrium was coming along fine at 8.9, the next it was 3.8 with my e2 levels dropping. they dropped again yesterday so we had to cancel. the strange thing is that i didnt have any bleeding which is what you would have expected so were did the lining go?
yesterday i was very upset, today it's a mixture of sadness, frustration and anger. aagggghhhh i hate this!!!!!!!!!!

the only positive thing is that now the head doc will be following me personally as opposed to reviewing my file in team meetings. hope it makes a difference.

jackie, great news. best of luck on monday. just lie back and think of babies!

anna, you must be happy to be moving ahead. when you actually have a date in sight and flights booked it seems so much more real. it's funny though that spain has more donors than the uk. i wonder why that is.

Just back from visiting my sister for Easter. She's a reflexologist so I have taken advantage and had a fab session...for free!

Rachel, so sorry to see your news. Hope you are Ok. It's very strange when our bodies just decide not to comply with our wishes. I know exactly how you feel. Your story sounds very similar to mine. At 3rd scan the follies hadn't grown and the lining had diminished, with no bleeding. I too wondered where it had gone. What will you do next? You say the head doc is now involved. Do you have an appointment booked? I went to book mine after the cycle was cancelled and the admin guy said that I had to wait for my next period. I told him , very politely of course, that I begged to differ and I needed an apptmt as soon as poss. ....I got one! Why do we have to get stroppy to get what we need? I hope you can get an apptmt soon and focus on your next step. Good luck.

Rachel, hope you are OK today. You wondered why Spain has more donors than the UK. There are 2 main reasons for this, firstly the donors in Spain are paid, the UK ladies aren't and secondly they can remain annonymous which they can't in the UK. So, UK ladies aren't too keen to donate! Simple really

Oh my!! I woke up monday morning for FET with a terrible cold and all of this coughing and sneezing concerns me that my little embies are bouncing around and cant implant.

Has anyone had anything like this. Im only on day 2 right now.
I know that they are pretty secure in there "like a bee in honey" but I just feel bad like im bouncing them around.

Hi to Rachel. Hope you are Ok today. I hope you don't mind me asking but when your tmt was cancelled did you have a bleed? ....sorry. I stopped stimming on Fri 31st March, my cycle was cancelled and then I had a bleed on Sat 1st April, which was day 14. Do you know if that counts as AF? It lasted 3 days. I now don't know if I'm on day 33 (if it didn't count) or day 19 (if it did!) Very confusing

Not long now until your next cycle. 300 miles is a long way to be apart from your dh Hope you enjoy your time together. Thanks for your thoughts on which day is which I just might be losing my mind! I am going to Spain for an inital consultation on May 3rd. Have got school residential all next week so the time will fly by.
