Hi there - was meant to have FET in February. Embies didn't defrost so Had a bleed on 22nd February (like normal AF).....was due last week ....nothing yet . So its been over 40 days since last bleed (usually have AF every 30-32 days)....anyone else had any experience of this? Don't want to get cought out!

Anyone have very delayed AF after medicated FET failure?
Relax - my first cycle my period was stretched out for about 40 days - if you are overly concerned, call your dr. and ask them to run blood tests

It's very commonplace I'm afraid. I remember asking this same question after my first IVF and since then have read about it happening to so many people. I think there is something they can give you to bring it on if it stays away way too long (not sure what - maybe oneof the other girls can help out here) but most have to just sit and wait I'm afraid.
Will start jigging for you to try and bring it on!

hi , im feeling exactly the same as you at the moment. i went for ec in feb,et was cancled and i had to have a total freeze. got af 2weeks later. this month i can request for fet. but af hasnt showed for 40 days. im hanging on just like you. its a pain in the arse i know.

thanks guys - still waiting. The most awful thing is that you start wondering if some unbelievable miracle has happened (even though IMOPSSIBLE in our case!) - and you just know in your heart of hearts you are going to come down to earth with an almighty crash at some point. Oh well.....48 days and counting!

god, 48 days. you must be really pissed off. are you waiting to reqest treatment for FET? Still no show from af. i cant belive it. ive had period pains for the last 2 weeks spots for a month nearly and generally feeling like s**t. i feel like im going to come on every day. but i dont. i hope nothing is wrong.

Same for me Caz - 48 days after failed medicated FET. They were going to do bloods on day 53 if AF didn't arrive and possibly meds to bring it on.

yup, complete nightmare, although not waiting for any treatment to start (DH got to have TESE to see if we can retrieve anymore sperm for further treatment).....
Sophie......when did your AF eventually arrive or ar you still waiting. I have to wait until after Easter and if still no AF then I guess I'll have to have bloods too.
