Is anyone else pregnant and NOT Nauseous at all?

Post by larisaM »

Hi Everyone,
I am a little worried! I am 6 weeks pregnant and have not felt too much of nausia. I have only felt it 2-3 times so far. Is this normal? Does that mean something is wrong? I was pregnant 4 times before all natural pregnancies and all ended in a m/c. With all 4 I was not nauseous either. Has anyone had healthy pregnancies with no signs of nausia or morning sickness? I have some signs such as extreme breast ttenderness, heartburn, some food cravings but is that enough? If someone knows anything about this subject please respond.

Thank you!
Larisa

I am only 4 weeks - and have had slight light-headedness and queasyness, but nothing major.

I wanted to tell you that my mother had 5 kids and says she was never nauseous once in all 5 pregnancies. I think everyone's body is different. I wouldn't worry at all if I were you. :D

Larisa,

I don't really get nauseous, only occasionally around a particular smell or at night if I am eating dinner late....But thats it - I never threw up my last pregnancy and so far this one is the same...

Some girls have no symptoms at all, not even breast tenderness and have a successful pregnancy.

Me on the other hand, it just took a little while. When the nausea kicked in finally, it came in full force.

So enjoy being nausea free for now - it may come later.

I was fine through 6 weeks, then weeks 7 and 8 hit me like a ton of bricks. I was sick all day. Now I'm about to finish week 9 and week 9 was easier and I feel much better, although I have other new symptons. It seems for me like each week brings something different.

I agree with the other ladies, there's no cause for worry, everyone's body reacts differently to it. And you still have 1/2 of your 1st trimester left, so plenty of time to get sick! :)

Hi Ladies,
Thank you for your very helpul responses. You have all made me feel much better about my pregnancy. I also spoke to my sister who is now 7 months pregnant and she says that she had very little nausia too. My mom and my other sister didn't really get sick with all of their pregnancies either. Maybe it runs in my family?

I think I am just over sensetive because of my previous experiences. I am keeping positive and awaiting my scan on 4/18 where they will be looking for a heartbeat. I know I will be more relaxed once I see my baby's beating heart.

Thank you all again!
