Cazzy - hope you got my reply before the site crashed, our hospital said it didn't matter when we injected as long as it is the same time each day. Hi Everyone, I did post my details on Sunday evening, but everything has vanished - very strange !!!! I'm 27, (28 in Sept), DH is 33 Been together for over 10 years, married for just over a year and TTC for over 18 months Was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago Had Laparoscopy in October 2002 which detected mild Endo DH sperm is apparently all A OK 6 months of clomid - negative IUI in April - negative Made the decision to have our first IVF cycle this month Currently injecting with Buseralin (instead of sniffing) - started last Friday 25th July First pre-stim scan is on Wednesday 13th August Estimated EC date of Tuesday 26th August with ET being 28th / 29th August, testing 11th / 12th September Feeling quite positive at the mo (which makes a HUGE change for me!!), but also nervous about the EC etc. etc. I'm having EC done under sedation, not General, so worried that it will be very painful - bit of a girlie comment, don't you think?!! Obviously as this is my first IVF, not sure what to expect. Here's hoping that August 2003 is a very lucky, positive month for all us August Cycle Buddies!!! Best of luck to Everyone!! Hi everyone, Fi; how did your scan go? I went for my scan today and it was fine, lots of folicles some quite big. I have to go back in for another on Friday. Nurse said that E/C should be Monday or Tuesday. Good luck Michelle, if I go in on Monday I will be having E/T on Wed 6th Aug too so we can go through the dreaded 2WW together. Hiya everyone. August sounds like it is gonna be a definite PMA month. Gilly - our follies will grow together! Our doctor said mine we're small but as we only had 3 last time and we've 11 this time then this is PMA working already. I've had to up my Menogon to 375 (5 amps) and I go back Friday morning for a scan. Hows everyone elses scans? Well done sharon with your large follies. hi all, sharon - glad your scan went well, my baseline showed lightly thicker than protocol lining...gulp first hurdle which meant possibly could have to sniff another week, which puts my 'holiday' time off plans to the toilet!!!!!!!!!put just had call to say A ok can proceed with injections, follies nice.... we aren't e/c til the 11th, so good luck PMA to all those who are next week! jo - just a personal note on the sedation thing, first attempt i was more out of it than our 2nd ...and from the 2nd experience i want to be totally out for this one!!!!!!!i am sure lots of girls get on ok with sedation rather than general - worth finding out, also will it depend on how many you have to collect? well, have a fab weekend girls its nearly here!!!!!!!!! love fi

Hi all you ACB's Hope you are all doing ok & keeping up the PMA. Bertie - They've also upped my dose to 375 and Friday morning is my next scan as well. Lets hope our follies are growing nicely. Sharon - Well done on your follies. They've not said anything about my E/C date yet, hopefully they'll have more of an idea on Friday. Fi - hope your scan was ok. Jo - Glad your feeling so positive as the first cycle can be a bit daunting at times. I've only ever had my E/C's under general but I'm sure you will be fine. Anyway keep up that PMA and you'll only need the one E/C when all of us ACB's get our +++ives! Best wishes to everyone else, let us know how you're doing. Gill xxx

Hi, I'm 37, DH is 38. We've been TCC for 8 years. I've got blocked tubes which Dr's attempted to unblock in 1996! DH has low sperm count. We've had IVF x2, then ICSI x 2 at Edinburgh - all failed. ICSI x1 at Dundee - failed, ICSI x1 at edinburgh - positive result but no heart beat at 10 weeks. ICSI x1 AND fet both at Edinburgh - failed ICSI x1 at Dundee - failed. So after having 17 embryos transfered and only 1 implanting we headed to The Park in Notts and have undergone a whole screed of tests which has shown a number of probs. Now just awaiting period to start buserilin injections. Good luck to everyone! Di

Hi All just a bit nervous going for my first scan tomorrow and don't know what to expect what is good and what is OK?? I am due for e/c on 8th but will know more tomorrow. I'm in a relatively new clinic in London CRM is anyone else having treatment there? love and hugs Aly

hello to all you aug cycle buddies, have been following you all, there seems to lots of you! sorry sam, that your dh dad died on monday, this must be such a hard time for you both. I think youve done the best thing to wait until october, although it seems a long way off. In my last ivf my very special little Aunt died the day before ec. It was dreadful. I was also ill but totally stressed and upset and it didnt help my embies as they didnt want to stick around! I think its so important for us to feel well and as less stressed as possible. thinking of you both at this sad time. lots of love kathryn x all the best to all you others cyclers, will be following you all and making sure there isnt a lack of PMA!

question about timing of injections... i am on merional and sniffing suprecur also, has anyone been told a particular time of day to inject/sniff? at the mo i am doing sniff am and inject pm but just wondering if it makes any difference??!! hows everyone doing? sending lots of +++++++++++vibes your way, :) fi XX

Hi All Had my first scan today womb is 9.3 which is great and I have loads of follies in fact a few too many so they are cutting back on the injections they still thing we should be fine to go for e/c on the 8th however the risk of OHS has increased but i'll cross that one when I get to it! lynne good luck with your scan sure everything will be OK.
