I haven't been posting lately because I have been on modified bed rest. My "due date" was to be 5 May.. but I am going to be induced on Wed or before if my headache (high BP ) doesn't go way. Since middle of March, I have been "hospitalized" twice( once on my 40th b day!!!
and the other last Tuesday for High BP. protein in my urine and GYNORMOUS fluid retention!!!!! They wanted to get my past 37 weeks- so I am.. I was going every other day to get tested and nothing really has changed... So Wed is the day.. I am SCARED.. Or rather we are Scared!!!!! I am going to share a deep dark secret with ya'll.. Had a 23 lb weight gain in 2 weeks (water retention!!!
!).. Not so much fun.. But trying to have a great attitude about it...... Last week, I had the Dr.'s permission to attended my favorite singer of right now concert... Michael Buble!!!! WOW!!!!! 3rd row... I was in heaven!!!!!!!! Long story short.. My BEAUTIFUL friend who went with my in July to see him was approached by the drummer and saxophone player of the band.. We even were invited to have wine with them and MB.. WOW... Anyway.. The band members remembered my friend(did I say she was beautiful? and sweet)? Anyway..... The drummer and her have been corresponding and they will be back in concert in our area in Aug.... Hope we get good seats!! Anyway.... I rode on her coat tails and had a great time and if you guys get a chance to hear Michael Buble.. Do it... He is great!! See.. It took my mind off of the whole preeclampsia crap!!!Anyway...... I hope no one has to go through this.. It is scarey and full of uncertainty...... I hope that everyone is doing well.. and if you could say a little word of encouragement on Wed..under your breath.. I am sure I will feel it a whole ocean away......!!!
