Embryo donation participation scheme

Post by jillyB »

Does anybody know of a clinic that is actively involved in this scheme? We are hoping to receive donated embryos. It is a difficult search. If anybody can help, you will be my angel! Many thanks. Jill

Hi Jilly,

There are plenty of clinics around in the UK (not sure where you are!) that participate in egg-share schemes, but as a recipient of donor eggs you are looking at a very long waiting list - at least 18 months, may 2 - 3 years. The other option for you is to go abroad to receive donated eggs. There is no waiting list for donors in Europe for example. A lot of girls go to Spain or the Ukraine for donor tmt. I am personally about to start my tmt to receive donor eggs in Kiev, next month.

Oh, sorry, have just re-read your post, and you are looking for donated embyos. Not sure of the details with embryos, so am sorry I cannot point you in the right direction.

Good luck with your search.
