Thanks ladies

I am petrified.

I don't think it's worked.

I don't know what I'm going to do.

I said to DH last night I think we should give up. I don't like the person that infertility is turning me into. I'm so sad and introverted all the time. I used to be so happy and bubbly.

I think we might just stop doing this and adopt.

I'm probably too early to be thinking this. It's only been 17 months on our journey. But I miss the old me. Maybe I'm being a coward. Maybe it's the hormones talking. I know some of you very brave ladies have been on this journey for far longer than I. When do you give up?

Bec, try to stay positive until you get the final results honey!

There isn't a cycle that goes by where I don't think the same things. It is amazing how you manage to bounce back. The dream overwhelms you....but let's not talk like this...it's NOT over!!!

I know what you mean about how it changes your personality. I am unrecognisable to the person I used to be. That person will come out again when your IVF journey is over!

Bec - it sounds like the drugs talking! Every time I was on my 2ww, I would make all these big decisions; quitting work, adopting etc. It is such a hard journey, but you are in no state to make any decisions like that at the moment!

I felt sure my last would be a BFN, but it wasn't! I will keep everything crossed that you get your surprise on the 22nd! Good luck!!!!

Bella.

Well ladies
I have to admit defeat. It's day 14 and it's a BFN. I knew it would be. I'm supposed to test day 16, and valiantly I will try again. But I know it hasn't worked. I should admit defeat now.
I don't know what to do. I've done so much crying I'm exhausted. It's so unfair.

Hey Bec,
I posted on the other thread to you, but will add here, that I hope there is still a chance for you!

And 17 months is an eternity of trying so it doesnt make it any easier for you just because others have been trying longer. Give yourself some time to get through this low point, and there is hope and good things for you around the corner. It sucks how the baby chasing does change you, but for what its worth you always seem thoughtful and open, bright and full of life to me in your posts, so .... this crap has just taken some whack out of you ... but it hasn't changed the core of who you are ... your still the same bright you, your just taking a little refuge from the crap flying around. But that won't last for much longer  Goodies are around the corner for you .
take care

Bec

Did you do a HPT, if so a BFN means nothing especially on day 14.
Please keep positive, and don't worry about how you're reacting now - it's normal at this time in the cycle and with all the drugs!
