Bec,

Honey I am so sorry you are going thru this. I am not feeling very positive either - thought Saturday would bring us both BFP's. But I won't give up til I hear it from the Doctor himself.
Please don't lose hope. That's the one thing we all need to keep in our hearts. Just because it doesn't work this time does not mean it never will. Even if I get BFN, I still hope that one day I'll become a mom. It just might not be the way I planned it!
I know that does not relieve the pain you feel right now but just wanted to share that with you. There is always hope. That's how some women go thru 6, 7, 8 tries...year after year. They have hope in their hearts that one day....

In my gutt I feel I will be right there with you but I am still going to hope for a miracle. God is so good and He can do anything. I gotta believe that.
I am praying for you that you and DH will spend some quality time together, grieve together. Maybe go on a vacation - get away from it all. You never know what can happen!!

BIG HUGS my test day buddy,

Allison

Bec I am so sorry dear. I know how frustrating it is, especially when it seems everyone around you is pg. We have all been there at one time or another. Try to be patient - I know it is hard. I have a friend who had unexplained infertility. She and her dh were fine on all of their tests. After 4 yrs and several failed IUIs - she got pregnant naturally! She was more shocked than anyone. She just gave birth to a healthy baby girl two months ago. It CAN happen for you and it WILL. I think it is great news that you two may be able to conceive naturally. I will pray for you - try to hang in there hon. I really hope you feel better soon.

Allison - why are you feeling negative? You have been so positive thru all of this. Are you just having a down day? Lord knows I have had my share of them! Keep your chin up - your BFP is right around the corner!

 Oh Bec,
It could have been me who wrote your little note, i feel just the same.
I have been through two ivf's now and feel so down this time. I'm finding it hard to get motivated and just feel so sad. It's easier to be at home where you don't have to see pregnant woman, kids and have to answer everyones questions about when we are trying again. I also feel that everyone i know must be looking and feeling so sorry for me, which i hate. Also once you tell people that it's not worked then they just assume it will take a few days to heal then say just try again. They don't think that your life is on hold until the next cycle and there is all the emotions during this time too.
The only way i am trying to get through this hell is to tell myself that it WILL work eventually. I can't begin to think i can never have kids.
We will get there, it's just going to take some time.
I am here if you need a chat.

A huge hug is flying from Scotland to you

Love Jen x

Girls it will work!! I know how you feel - it took me three attempts to get a positive!!! I was gutted everytime and there is nothing worse then having to look around outside of your house or see those who take there children for granted...The pain does pass and you become even more determined...My distraction was capturing everything in my control... My weight, bad habits, etc....and the research....Hang in there I know it seems impossible and very far away but it will happen...They just have to get the process right for you...

Bec, I am so very sorry. I was truly devastated when I read your post. I can only reiterate what the other girls have said. Your time WILL come. This road is laid before us as a test, I am convinced of that. It is only placed in front of the strongest and that's what we are. We have terrible down days and God knows I have been there; where you feel you can't go on. Believe me, the very fact you are on this journey means you do have the strength and it will find you or you will find it. Don't give up on your dream; it's too big, too great and is waiting for you. This fight is making you a stronger person.

Reading everyone's posts, although my heart was breaking, actually made me feel in the company of friends, like-minded people, all with a common goal: to be mummies and to be the best ones we can. Who can deny us that, eh?

Bec P: I am so sorry!! I don't know you very well yet but from your posts I can tell how sweet you are!! I am wishing the best for you.

Well, I got my beta results a couple hours ago and I am happy to report a BFP!!!! My beta was 147 16 DP Retrieval. Does anyone know if that is good? The nurse seemed happy with it. It sounds a little low but it is still very early.

Thanks for all your thougths and prayers. Now I need to figure out how to make a ticker. Any help?

Congratulations, Addison! That level sounds great! I was only at 42 on day 14 and then increased to 163 on day 18. Now just waiting for first scan on May 4th.

Bec and Allison, have no worries. I got a little upset about two days before my beta...even after getting a positive HPT (I had a negative a couple of days before). Everything will be great and I am looking forward to seeing some BFP's on Saturday! I'll be thinking about you!

Hi Girls

I think mine is another dud cycle. I tested this morning with one of those early HPTs (25iu) at 13dpt (15dpo), and it was a BFN. I know the official test is Tues but I realy feel as though we have our answer. I am having no more spotting which is good, but the cramping has stopped too and I usually have cramps when pg....99.9% sure it's a bust!

So come on the rest of you, you have got to give us some BFPs.

Anytime Jen!!!

Hang in their Caty - test day is still tuesday - so wait for confirmation but remain guarded....The earliest I have tested is two days before test day....with a faint positive - so there is still hope as you have tested 5 days early

Hi Jamato, I agree, but bear in mind my test date is longer than most at 17dpt. Most people test around 14dpt......I know I should remin positive but my defense mechanism is taking over. Thanks for your support.
