I am taking it relatively easy...No lifting and getting plenty of rest...I work 8 hours but at a desk all day....at night its usually quiet activity/tv/computer....I go out occasionally, do some walking but nothing real intense...

I have gained about 10 lbs, feeling like I'm in someone else's body...I also feel like a human incubator because I'm constantly hot all the time...I had my 1st OB appt this past tuesday and all is well..twin b measured at 8 wks and 3 days and twin c measured at 8wk 0 days, I have an ultrasound scheduled for may 2 at some clinic that specializes in multiples...I'm also seeing my RE...hopefully he will take me off the estrace and progesterone, although they're doing a study on progesterone usage..they think it may allow a woman to carry her baby longer especially someone with multiples...I feel so bad...morning sickness is a bummer and I constantly have heartburn with headaches...anyone know of a good safe remedy for all of these..I'm takin rofram for the nausea..it's not helping at all....
Welcome to the newby preggos

Hey, Ahart. I've been wondering how you were doing. I suppose everyone is different, but I was as sick as you during weeks 6, 7 and 8. I noticed that you are just at 9 weeks now. That's the exact time I started feeling beetter. Maybe you'll be lucky and start feeling better too. The nausea wrist bands seem to help me too.
I'm taking the progesterone through the end of week 14. So I'm hoping what you heard about the length of taking the progesterone helping to carry babies longer, especially in multiples, is true!
Glad to hear babies B&C are doing well!

Mel - I absolutely LOVED your comments!!! I think after snapping a lot at my friends, they are starting to realise that the IVF journey, while it ends up in a baby like the rest of the 'normal' pregnancies, it is anything but normal!
Jamato - I LOVE LOVE your ticker!!! That is great!!!
Just for some info - my clinic advised stopping the progesterone as soon as I got my BFP. I was so worried at first, but everything has been OK, and I haven't had to take that awful thing!
Also, I have been a late m/s person.... I was OK up until about week 8, then for the last 2 weeks, I have felt like I am reaaalllly hungover, but can't do anything about it. Now I feel like I'm getting flu....
Welcome Lisa - you will see the little heartbeat at your scan, and you will be so excited!!! It is amazing.

Mel - thank you for your comments! really made me laugh and feel better
Heather - I am taking it super, super easy because I just don't have the energy to do much. I take naps every day and am in bed by 10pm latest..sometimes 9pm. I do take my dogs for walks because we all need the exercise and fresh air. I have not done any other exercising...scared to death to be honest.
Bella - Definitely feels like a hangover..my m/s has gotten much better...week 6 I could not even stand in the morning. I cure the naseua with eating
Sorry all
I lost a bunch of sleep last night when I realised how totally preccupied, thoughtless, and shallow my rant was yesterday.
There are girls reading the posts who have gotten so close and had their hopes dashed and those of us who are still walking on a tighrope waiting for things to be confirmed okay. So to those of you especially just want to say am really sorry. Am embarrased about being so thoughless. I really hope no one took offense. I get to use the embarrased icon and really mean it

Heather - hoping your scan goes well, good luck today
Asda have started doing a range of maternity wear and the prices are great, just thought i would mention it for those thinking of expanding their wardrobe over the weekend.
Sounds like everyone is doing ok, besides the normal stressing of course!!!! I can't wait to get to the next scan, then i can stop telling lies!!! My brother asked me when i was doing ivf and i told him it would be a few months yet, oh how much i wanted to say 'I'M PREGNANT'. These next 2 and a half weeks will be the longest wait ever and then like you Mel i am going to graduate and become a big girl and go over the otherside. I couldnt give up the BB altogether, after all this is the only place were people truly understand the pain of infertility and ivf.
Today i have been feeling alot brighter and even done some cleaning!!! so i think definately the morning sickness is clearing, i was not prepared for how bad that experience was, although i am not complaining, if its a means to an end. I did lose 2 and a half pounds at slimming world this week so thats ok.
take care & good luck all
love

jamota253- Hi I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. It took my doctor a little bit to find the heartbeat so I was alittle freaked out, but we were able to see it thankfully. How was your first heartbeat scan?

Hi ladies, I would love to join you. I got my Bfp on Thursday and now I am officially waiting for my first scan which is scheduled for Friday, April 28th. What should I expect?
I haven't been able to read all the posts but I will get caught up in a couple days

Hi Addison and welcome, not long now til your first scan, how exciting. I can't really advise you on what you would see then as yours is still very early, to see a heart beat it is normally around the 6/7 week mark. I'm sure some of the ladies will be on to advise you.
good luck
