Hi,

Hope all is well,

Jen - Thanks for the PMA message - I am so far trying to keep calm - and can you believe I haven't been near those old HPT's yet.......Last time I tested way too early, it cost me a fortune in retests and the negatives drove me mad. This time at least I am calmer - I have resigned myself to the fact that there is NOTHING I can do now to influence the result in anyway. If I am honest I have prayed hard this time but I don't have ANY symptoms at all and don't feel a jot different so I am not that hopeful....I will however keep my fingers crossed and keep talking to the man upstairs :D .

Ilona, really sorry about your news - I hope that your dreams come true in the future.

Lots of babydust all around,

Sammylou xxx

Hi Sammylou

I will be praying so hard for you tonight!

I did another test this morning. Of course another BFN. I will have to do one tomorrow just for the sake of the clinic. I will then call them so the paperwork can be finalised. I have come to terms with it in a fashion. A friend posted a lovely card to me today - of course it just set me off again! :( !!!

Onwards and upwards as they say.

I will pop on and hopefully read your good news...sending you all positive vibes!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank Caty - I hope I don't disappoint! I'm not sure if I have AF cramps this evening or if it was my DH's cooking! :?

Are you planning to cycle again?

Hi girls

Ilona -- I was so sorry to hear your news. I have had negative results before too and I know just how much it hurts. Take time to grieve, but remember to take care of yourself. You did all that you could!!

Caty & Sammylou -- I will say an extra prayer for you both tonight. Best of luck!! And Sammylou, I do agree with you about the HPT. I don't have any & I don't plan on getting any. I am stressed out enough without worry about what they might say. My Dr. told me to wait for blood test as with all the meds the HPTs are not very reliable in our cases.

Jennifer from Dallas -- Welcome and it looks like you and I both test on Friday. This is going to be the longest week in the history of time. Best of luck and hang in there.

Best of luck to the rest of you testing this week!! I was starting to feel a few symptoms possibly, but then they disappear. So is probably nothing. I was pretty positive last week, but am having lots of trouble staying positive the last 2 days. I think I am putting my guard up as getting ready for a possible negative outcome. I'm just trying to stay focused on a PMA but is so hard. Good luck with the rest of 2ww everyone.

Sorry this is long!!!

Hi All

Just to let you know that it is all officially over now. I knew it was 5 days ago but today is the date the clinic set so now they have filed all the paperwork. Another failure.

So after 3 failed fresh, 1 failed frozen plus the 3 cycles that were cancelled, what next? Well we haven't completely decided. We may give it one last shot in July, but it would have to be the last. It's time to start living again and spending all this money on the child that I have.

I have sent off for some info on adoption and fostering. I am a little nervous about it but it is DH who remains unconvinced. I spoke to a lovely lady at social services yesterday. I was completely honest and told her that at this stage we are dipping our toes. It has to be right for all parties concerned. It is so much bigger than having your own child. DH said he will read the info and then we will go from there. I think he would go at IVF forever but he can see how emotionally draining it is for me. :(

This cycle was so perfect that I can't imagine what went wrong. I have never thought that on any cycle before. I punished my body but putting it through purgatory at the gym yesterday - that'll teach it :D OUCH!!!

So that's where we're at.

Oh and to add to matters, we thought, 'let's book a lovely holiday'. Not had one for 2 years and need a rest. So I booked it 2 days ago. Guess where to? Egypt! I imagine you have all seen the news by the time you read this!!! Well I'm going! DH is worried, but if I have to go on my own I will. The ba*****s won't scare me off!

Almost forgot what I was going to ask: I have stopped the vaginal pessaries today, anyone know when I should bleed?

Thanks girls for all your support. I couldn't have got through the TWW without you. Sorry this message got so long.

Sammylou and everyone else testing in the next few days...good luck. Praying so hard for you. This is such a tough ride, we all deserve for our dreams to come true!!!

Good morning Ladies. Good Luck with testing today Sammylou. You are in my prayers.

Brenda in Wisconsin...yep. looks like Friday is our day! I go in between 8and 9am for blood test and will know in the afternoon. I have found it really difficult to be positive the past few days also. I woke up at 4am and could not go back to sleep so I started Chapter 6 of a book I got yesterday called "A Few Good Eggs"- Two Chicks Dish on Overcoming the Insanity of Infertility. I kind of feel like it is overkill at this point because I have already read sooo much on the Internet and so many books that it is overloading my head with tooo much information, if there is such a thing. I know I need to just give it a rest but the former investigative reporter in me just won't let me! I sware I am going to write my own book when I get to the other side of this experience! Oh how I wish I had found you gals and this site at the beginning of my IVF! This is going to be our one and only IVF attempt. I don't know how in the world there are people able to do three, four and five cycles. Both monetarily or emotionally. I admire those of you who can...you all have an amazing fortitude about you. I have a new respect for couples experiencing fertility issues that is for sure!

Caty- I read your last post and cried. My heart goes out to you Sweetie. Then you book your trip to Egypt and then the bombing there- must feel like nothing is going your way. Good for you not letting those Sh-- Heads get you down! My niece and brother in law were in Sharm el Sheik (sp) about two weeks prior to the bombing there. They had a bodyguard and were told to say they were Canadian if anyone asked. God forbid anyone find out they were American over there! They went scuba diving in the red sea and had the adventure of a lifetime while there. If you go I am sure you will have a great time also, just be careful!
Sounds like you are on the right track - already in the gym. Good girl!

If things are -ive on Friday, I plan on hiring a trainer to get me on track with what little $ I have left. I have gained 40lbs since getting re-married two years ago. I kept thinking "Oh, I am about to get pregnant anyway, so I will just take it off afterward." Yesterday I ran into my old boss and his comment after he heard of my possible impending pregnancy was "Oh thank God...that is why you are sooo HUGE!" Nice...cannot tell you how much that helped the already plummeting self-esteem!

Well, I love you gals. Feels like I have more of a bond to you all than my three other sisters! :)

God Bless you all!!

Saying prayers for you all and will be sending good vibes up to Wisconsin and asking God for good results for you on Friday Brenda!

Big Texas Hugs to you all.

Love,
