Thank you Addison. Congrats on your +ive. I am having a terrible time getting through these last few days! What part of the US are you in? I live near an Addison, TX. I have a nephew named Addison. I really like the name both for a girl or a boy.

Just did an HPT, with my blood test tomorrow. I saw it.... 2 faint lines!
I will take another in the morning to make sure before I get the real answer. It was like some was lifted from me. I felt a hunderd times lighter. Wow, still don't believe it. Can't wait to see the numbers.

Jenamos, I have been spotting since Sunday night. It was originally light red Sunday and brown everyday since, including today.

Congrats to Sammy Lou!

Hello there. Happy Thursday to you all. Miel...looks good! Your chance of having a false +ive are not likely. I am saying a prayer for you this morning. Cannot wait to see anoter :) on our list!!!

Brenda, I can totally relate. These last days have been killer! I go in at 8am and will know the results of the blood hcg by 2pm. I am extremely anxious.

My husband's Aunt passed away last night and we are not sure whether or not I will be able to go to the funeral. It depends on whether it is + OR - I guess. What a week!

Well, prayers to all the ladies on the board. I am wishing Miel the best today with her test and big hugs going out to my friends Walsh, Brenda, Jackie G and Sammy that all test tomorrow with me. I am praying for more happy faces to finish out the month.

Thank you so much to you ladies who have put my mind at ease somewhat about the spotting.

Love to all!

A question for those of you who have negatives.

Tuesday was 2 weeks since egg retrieval, and was the day of my blood test. My results were negative. Today is Thursday, and I still have no signs of AF. Did any of you go through that also? I figured I would start by now.

Thanks.

UPDATE: Right after I did the last post I discovered bright red blood Unfortunately. Called Dr. and they had me come in right away. They went ahead and did the blood test this morning so I will know by 4pm today the confirmed result. They did a urine test and it was negative so it is not looking to good as far as getting a happy face from Jen from Texas...

Just wanted to keep you ladies, my new friends, in the loop.

God bless each and every one of you reading this. I wish happy faces for each and every one of you - may your dreams come true.

Hugs to all!

Love,
Jennifer

Jennifer - so sorry to hear your news! I was hoping to see a big smiley face next to your name! Seems like I started a bad trend of BFN's in the end here.
My clinic has just told me of a new study that is coming up with Organon (drug co here in town). They make Follistim but I don't know if they are wanting to try a new stim med or not. Anyway, my clinic just sent me an email asking me if I wanted to participate. They pay for almost all the drugs (my part would be around $200) and half the cost of the IVF (my part woul dbe around $3000-$4000). ALOT cheaper than what we paid last year! So she added me to the list and they are looking for 100 more women. I don't know if this is only available to past clients but it wouldn't hurt to look into it. I could even ask for you. There are alot of requirements you have to meet to qualify but it may be a way for you to try again.

Again I am sorry to all the BFN's this month. And many CONGRATS to the BFP's!!

HUGS,
Allison

 yipeeeee finally some good news another BFP

Thanks Sammilou, can you tell me what vitamins you took from Zita West? Should everyone have the same or where you tested for your vitamins? I will try anything that might work. I tried acupuncture last time but still got a bfn, will add the vitamins for cycle 3

Allison - Go for it, what have you got to lose. This might be the drug that gets your little miracle. Good luck, keep me posted.

Jennifer - Have got everything crossed for you today.

Am due to visit our friends tomorrow who have just had a baby. Its going to be hard but will have to bite my lip and get on with it. Life is so unfair

Hope your all ok and have a good weekend

Hi Jen,

With me, the way it worked was that I bought the Zita West book (everyone on this site was raving about it) and it has loads of info about nutrition and what to eat. The trouble was that you need to have so many different things, that I felt no matter how good I was, that somehow I would forget to each something or the other. :( I went on Zita's website and she has the vitamin packs all prepared (anyone can buy them) so I knew by taking them I was getting most of what I needed. I bought:

- Vitafem and Vital DHA for me
- Vitamen for my DH

(Not cheap - DH was not impressed at the time  )

For me this cycle was completely different from the others.....

The first cycle I produced 23 eggs of which only 6 fertilised and only 2 got to grade 2, 4 cells :(

HOWEVER

This cycle I got 24 eggs of which 19 fertilised!!!!! I got 2 high quality 8 cells put back.

As far as anything else, I didn't really do anything else differently. The only other changes to my cycle were that they gave me buserelin to down reg instead of Prostap and I had a slightly lower dose of stimms.

I am not saying it was definately the vitamins but it could have been :?: When I bought them I knew I didn't have many more opportunities so I was clutching at straws and who knows...... :?:

Either way, I really hope it works for you this time,

LOL Sammylou xxxx

Thank you for the kind words. I should know a definitive yes or no (more likely to be no now) within the next hour and a half. My heart skips a beat everytime my telephone rings. First my Mom who offerred to come sit with me until my husband comes home from work and then my sister. I wanted to say "Quit calling me already! I am waiting for the Dr. to call!!!"- but I need not take my anger out on them. I already know in my heart that it will be a -ive.

As far as a study goes, I would like to be considered as that is the only way I could ever afford to go through this again but I don't know if I could make it emotionally! I honestly don't know how some of you gals can go through this IVF stuff repeatedly. God bless ya!

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Dallas. I just feel like staying in bed and pulling the covers over my head and having a good cry. I feel like a big ball of mush!

Well, once I know for sure from the Doc's office I will post again.

Love to all. So glad I have you gals to vent to!

 Thanks Sammilou, will check out the website. I have the book but there are too many vitamins, didn't know what ones to choose.
My 2nd cycle was also completely different from the first.
I was spotting for 2 days before the test and only when i went to the toilet. It was pink and mostly brown so i thought we had cracked it as so many girls seem to get this and get a bfp but it was not to be.
Am due to visit the Doc on Monday to have a chat about the cycle and move on to number 3. Its so hard but i have to keep thinking i will get my bfp one day soon.

Thanks for your help

MLG - Brilliant news, you are a lucky girls, enjoy it.
