I would like to know when I should start buying baby stuff? What should I buy first? Please help...

When you start is really up to you - when you feel comfortable going out to buy stuff for your twins.
I got lots of catalogues from the big baby stores and did some online research before I took DH and his credit cards out shopping! I did buy some mixed bundles of baby grows and vests from e-bay, which were quite a good buy considering how quickly the little ones grow and how many twins will go through in a day!! I don't know whether I am having boys or girls so I have just bought a couple of outfits and a pair of jeans each for them. They have lots of Aunts and Uncles so they are likely to get some presents!!
We had some problems with the furniture and it took 3 deliveries before we actually were able to complete the twins room. It arrived damaged twice. My twins are arriving next Tuesday. The last bits of furniture arrived last Wednesday!! I ordered it in January!
I have bought quite a bit of stuff online as it gets delivered and I dont have to worry about picking up heavy bags! DH is ok about going around the shops as long as he knows what we are going for but he will not trail around the shops for hours "just looking" which I think is true about a lot of men.
