Wow, my own countdown thread, I still can't get my head round the fact i'll have a daughter in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for all your kind wishes.
Ange, if she's anything like me then she most definately will be late as i'm never on time for anything, the registrar almost cancelled our wedding coz i was very late  Michael (DH) reckons she will be early though, i so hope he's right coz i've had enough of being pg now, just can't get comfortable at all and it's a struggle to do anything.
Thanks again for this thread, i'll keep you all posted.
Take care,
Lotsa love

Michelle,
I can't believe you have a countdown thread. When I first joined you had just started the "waiting for 1st scan" thread over on the general forum!! It's still going by the way!
Best of luck. Hope labour goes smoothly and you have your beautiful baby in your arms soon!

Hi girls,
Thanks again for all your messages.
Wasn't feeling too good yesterday, felt like i was coming down with something, was hot and cold and really achey all over, got worse as the day went on.
Then about 8pm the Braxton Hicks really kicked in, they were the most painfull yet and the little un never stopped wriggling about which added to the pain.
Went to bed last night and it got so bad i thought "this is it, it's starting" the pains were about 10mins apart and was agony, i was up and down for hours. By about 3am they eased off and i finally fell asleep. I feel kinda cheated now, all that pain for hours on end and nothing to show for it :? she really is taking after her Daddy already
I'll keep you updated if anything happens again.
Take care all,
Lotsa love

Hi girls,
I can't believe how close my due date is now, exactly 1 week today
I've no idea if she will be here early, on time or late, but the way i'm feeling, the sooner the better. Since being up all night last week with those painfull contractions i've been getting them every day since. This little un seems more active than ever and it's really uncomfortable when she moves.
Been getting a lot of comments on how much my bump has dropped lately. Michael, as charming as ever, pointed that out the other night, he said he can actually make out the shape of my boobs now they aren't resting on top of my belly  men eh.
I'm back at the midwife on Wednesday, last time i saw her she thought i might be bringing the baby in with me at this appointment, well, i will be but i reckon she will still be in my belly, can't see her arriving in the next 2 days (but i suppose you never know).
Take care everyone and i'll keep you posted.
Lotsa love
