Migraines - BFN, AF, and Progesterone?

Post by the3lowes »

I had my BFN last Tuesday. I then started AF on Wednesday, and stopped progesterone injections on Thursday. I have had a headache almost every day since then, a couple which were migraines. Are the headaches related to the cycle and the hormones? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi

sorry to hear about your result.

i'm sure it's just a hormonal imbalance. i've suffered from migraines for over 10 years and ivf makes them worse.

get the strongest over-the-counter painkillers you can, drink lots of water and eat plenty if you don't feel nauseous as low blood sugar will make things worse. also try one of those cooling pads that stick on your forehead.

Hope they go away soon.
