Gail, thank you so much for starting a thread for me!! How sweet!

I was debating whether or not I should start one.....I guess I just needed a little push.

Whoa, now I'm really excited. I test in two days and now I have my own thread!!

I'm very excited about my test, but my abdomen being SO SWOLLEN has worried me so much that I haven't been stressing as much about my test on Tuesday. Has anyone else had a very swollen abdomen that happened almost a week after ET?? If so, how long befor it went down? Thanks for the well wishes MLG!

Prissy it sounds quite like OHSS. Water and protein are the best things to help with that. However I dont want to worry you but I ended up in hospital for 10 days when I had it, so if at any time your in real pain check with your Dr or clinic again just to be on the safe side.

Carolyn, that's exactly what it is!!

I've been in denial, but I definitely have OHSS. It is quite painful and I've had atleast one good cry about it. I feel like I can't really enjoy the excitement of hopefully being pregnant with a watermelon belly! On second thought, if I get a BFP on Tuesday I KNOW I'll be very happy. I'm going to try to be seen by my Dr. tomorrow. I'm hoping he'll just drain the fluid off, but I have a feeling he won't. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Prissy! All the best for a BFP tomorrow!
I was swollen myself since the EC... but still managed to get a BFP... so I don't think it's a problem. My stomach is still bloated from time to time, but my doc gave this carminative mixture, which helps.

Good luck Prissy! My Doc said that signs of OHSS can increase once the pregnancy hormone kicks in, so your swollen belly could be because you are BFP!!!
