Hey Everyone!

Just an update.. I had my scan today at 6 weeks 0 days.. I saw the heartbeat of my cute little Bean! They said he/she was the size of a piece of rice! My DH had to stand up and double check because he was positive that we were having twins! I have to say I am very relived that i only had one! I was really really nervous that I was having twins..

Have a great day!

Danielle

Danielle!! That is soooo wonderful. Wow, the size of a grain of rice, that's really tiny. I'm so very happy for you. Congratulations!!

Hi ladies

Just had my 2nd blood test today and levels rose very nicely. My Dr. said congratulations, looks like things are going very well. I am still nervous as don't want anything to happen.
Good luck to the ladies testing this week!!
Carolyn - Sounds like it could be good news. I have heard alot about people getting a brownish discharge and is often implantation or leftover whatever. Stay positive!!
I have moved onto the waiting 1st scan board now. I will drop back to keep on eye on things for everyone.
Best of luck to everyone. Stay positive and keep your eye on the goal!!!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all ok and enjoyed the long weekend. Had my ET yesterday. All but two had fragmented which was a but disappointing (I had been told I would have some for freezing) but am so glad they had not all gone and hope that the two left are fighters! It was surreal having them put back in and I hope they are still there! My DH was great and fussed over me all day. We were really lazy, sleeping and lying on the sofa watching bank holiday films. Definately all the eating and lying around is not helping my bloated tummy. I've been living in tracksuit bottoms but will have to get dressed properly today so I hope I can find something that fits! Now am officially in the 2WW gang- may the days speed by!

Dania- hope your EC went well yesterday and you're not feeling too sore and uncomfortable.

Cyot- Your scan sounds normal and it's normal to be bloated- just keep on drinking all that water! Good luck with your next scan when they will have grown even more!

LucyBucy- Hope you are getting on OK with OH away. I sympathise as mine is away tonnes with work too. Hopefully the days will pass quickly for you and the best thing about them going away is how great it is when they come back! You asked about my EC and ET experiences. I had general anaesthetic for EC so didn't feel a thing but afterwards was sore(uncomfortable) and bloated for a good couple of days. Soreness has gone now but bloated tummy still there- partially caused by me eating too much and not doing any exercise I suppose! You may have to give a urine sample before you go for your EC so be prepared as I didn't know I was going to have to give one and had literally just been to the loo so really struggled to get any more out. (sorry tmi) but keep it in mind in case. The ET is more like a smear test and only hurt me a tiny bit just as the embbies were being put in. Good luck with it all!

Natalie-Anne- I found that Menopur was really tricky too and always had loads of air in the syringe. I think Wendy's advice was spot on. Hope they are getting a bit easier now. My bruises have almost all gone just 5 days after I stopped doing them so hopefully yours won't last too long.

Prissy- am thinking of you and and sending lots of positive vibes for your test result. hope you're feeling a bit less bloated now. good luck!

Heather- sorry to hear about your homework how annoying! Thinking of you on 5th for retrieval.

Sammy- so so sorry to hear your news. sounds like you did amazingly at the wedding. thinking of you and sounds like your lovely dh will take good care of you. keep positive and good luck for the future.

Em- agree this 2WW is terrible and am only on day two. It is impossible not to keep thinking about them in there and what they are up to!

Gailp- good luck and positive vibes for test day

Carolyn- hope going back to work today was ok and don't worry about discharge as sounds like it's a good thing!

Tikmoser- hope you got good news yesterday

Danielle - glad your scan went well

Brenda -CONGRATULATIONS! good news about the blood test and sounds like it's all going very well.

Right will leave you all in peace now and thinking of you all,

Tasha x

Just had my scan to check the follies. got 3 on the right and 6 on the left so that's 9 in total. had some stomach pains and been sick today so was worried he was going to find loads of eggs forming. last time i got 23!

they are a bit small though so i had some blood taken and they will test the hormone levels. if they are not high enough to grow the eggs more on my own, i'll up the dose of Menopur from tomorrow.

next scan is Friday.

Hope eveyone is doing ok today.

I've missed you guys! I wasn't able to post yeasterday because I had to spend the night in the hospital! My doc took one look at me and said "We need to drain that fluid off of your poor abdomen!" I felt like I was going to POP! They drained 3.5 liters off. It was the color of apple juice....pretty NASTY! Well, since I had to be admitted the doc also decided to run the pregnancy test a day early. I was nervous because I was only 10dpt, but I got a BFP!! Woo Hoo!! My HCG level was 257!! We're so excited! Thanky ou all so much for your support!

Xrayem: Keep talking to your embies! I felt silly at first too! I would kiss the picture I was given of them everyday and tell them how much I loved them and I could not wait to meet them! I also encouraged my DH to kiss my belly every day and tell them he loved them also!

Sammy: How brave and unselfish of you to attend your friends wedding! When I read that you were all ready geared up for try # 4 I thought how wonderful! I know you and DH must be going through a lot but to all ready be looking ahead shows a lot of courage and I truly admire that! I pray that your dreams come true!

tlkmoser: It really saddened me to hear your news. You and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers.

LOVE,
Prissy

MissPrissy that's fantastic news (about your BFP - not that you had to go to hospital!)

Congratulations to you both. Hope you start to feel better soon. I've had OHSS and i remember that "about to pop" feeling.

take good care of yourself and your embie(s).

tlkmoser, I am so sory to hear abut your BFN...If you need us talk, we are here for you. take your time to grieve btu don't give up. You will get your BFP next time.

Miss Prissy- Congratulations!!!! Wow, BFP, keep on coming!!!!!!!!!!!! i am sorry about your trip to the hospital but now that they drained the liquid, you should feel better.

tasha- it take only one, right. Keep positive. You can stay in those sweatpants, they fit nicely around the waste, right?:) man, those stimms are making my waste grow very fast:)

Natalie, 9 is a good number and I am sure you will get somre more! Keep them cooking!!

I had my b/w on MOnday. RE called and said to keep the same dose- GonalF-450 + 2 vials Menopur with 1/2 cc water. Sounds like it's working if they are keeping the same dose. Looks a lot in the syringe!
i am goig for my first u/s tomorrow. I hope I have been cooking those eggies. I am worried since last time I had only 6 mature eggs...
