Aaaagh!!!!!

Post by lynne »

Hi all,
Just poppling in to vent my frustration I'm afraid. I'm due to start downregging on Friday, but started spotting yesterday. This is a sign that AF is on it's wasy. It's only day 21 for goodness sake!!!!!!
I rang the clinic who said if it didn't show by Friday we'd go ahead. If not it will be next month again. I am SO p***ed off. Bloody body. All I can do is wait now. Every time I go to the loo...... It's nearly as bad a 2WW.
I was trying to stay so calm and not get too wound up about the injections. I was really really down a couple of weeks ago and I am determined I'm not going to get like that again and then this happens.
If I go next month EC will be the week of a tour I'm supposed to be doing in Wales which will have to be cancelled. Either that or we wait until September as we are away the whole summer. I suppose we could stay here for the summer, but DH will be awful upset if that has to happen.
Bloody bloody body. Please halt ALL AF gigs now!!!!
Efen if I can start on Friday, what happens if AF arrives Saturday morning? I don't know how it will affect the treatment. Does anyone know?

Whoops! I didn't mean to put that here. I'd already put it on the general forum. Don't know how that happened.
Apologies!

Hi Cla,
Have seen both your posts. You made me laugh. I'm trying to type now without moving my arms, but am not having much luck. I never thought about the extra sympathy I'd get from posting twice. Good move!
Have just had a row with DH over a stupid TV programme. Something about Britain's oldest Mums and Dads. I said we should watch it just to prove older people can have kids. His response was "I don't want to watch it. I already know I can!"
What a tosser.
I went off my head, but he just doesn't see it. I'm really angry with him, but as usual I am trying to calm the waters.
Anyway, so far so good on the spotting. Only another 48 hours to hold everything in.

Hi Anna

Glad your trip to Barcelona went well. Got everything crossed that this is your time. Roll on af!

I am doing ok I think. Off work at the mo so dragging a little. But the weather has been really good over the last couple of days, so have chilled in the garden which is good. Not going stir crazy yet anyway and def staying away from hpt's. I given it my best shot and it is out of my hands, and down to nature.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

luv to you all

Anna,

so glad it went well! Sounds like they are really nice there which is fabbo! Lets hope your af comes exactly when it should, and you can get on with this cycle. Yeah - we're here cheering you on!!!

Christine - well done for staying away from the hpts! They are evil! Sending lots of positive vibes for next weekend!

Hi Sue! how you feeling? The scan next week - is this your 12 week scan? It's so cool !

I'm fine thanks! Am 17 weeks today - OMG!!! Have put on a bit of weight and am struggling to do up my clothes, but haven't succumbed to maternity wear yet! Builders have nearly finished the spare bathroom - took longer than expected cause they took down the ceiling and we discovered original beams underneath which we decided to keep! just meant was a bit more fiddly than expected, but looks fab! I think they're knocking the wall through this weekend from our bedroom to the spare bedroom (which will ultimately be the baby's room) so watch out mess!!! here we come! Can't wait till it's all finished!

Hi to all! have a fantastic weekend! May the good weather last!

Hi All,
I've just written a really long post enquiring after everyone and it's gone missing in cyber space and my pupil is about to turn up.
How annoying.
AF stayed away and I've started Buserelin Injections. SO pleased.
I'll try logging on again later and re- typing my message. I really am being daft at the minute. I must remember to press the right button........

Great news lynne, really pleased that you have now started, keeping everything crossed for you.

Christine - are you still chilled? really hoping that this is your time, good luck

Anna - How are you doing? Feeling excited yet,

Cla - 17 weeks wow, nearly half way there!!! Sounds like everything is progressing well on the building front, hopefully not long now until it is finsished.

My scan is the supposedly the 12 week one but i will be nearly 14weeks by then, i am starting to get a little nervousl. Its mad, most of my friends and family still don't know i am pregnant and i don't even know when i will tell then, still worried that all will not go well.

GOOD LUCK ladies

love

Hi Sue

Glad that you are doing well. Good luck for your next scan. Be thinking of you.

Thanks for the mention. Still chilled out. But am feeling a little apprehensive for next week. I know deep down that it hasn't worked but you still have this little glimpse of hope. Af is due tommorow and it is my birthday also. Just going to try and look forward to my birthday.

Lynne so glad you have started treatment. good luck.

Love to everyone
Take Care

Hi everyone. Haven't been around lately - what a lot of news to catch up on from you all!!! I have just finished two cycles of FET, one straight after the other, and am now going straight on to another one. I thought about waiting but this IVF thing drags on for years. My consultant said it's fine to carry on as my ovarys are not tampered with and so no healing time needed ( not physically anyway). Mentally I am drained but I just want to use up my frosties now, give it my best shot, and have the whole IVF thing over and done with this year - whether pos or neg. Then I know next year there will be no more injections or drugs or anything. I will be starting down reg on the 17th May. I swear I age by about 5 years with each IVF cycle!

Sue - best of luck for your scan - hope all is well
Lynne - so glad you have started on the buserelin! I swear these AF's have evil minds of their own.
Cla - doesn't time fly!
Anna - glad things went well in Barcelona. I'm keeping all my fingers crossed for you.
christine - can't wait to hear your news - hope it's a BFP!

Hello and best wishes to everyone else.
