URGENT - ABOUT TO DO HCG. INTRAMUSC OR SUBCUT?

Hi

if anyone is on now and knows the answer to this, please can you respond asap?

i've got to do my hcg trigger shot at 8.30pm uk time (in an hour) and although i've done it before, it was a while ago and i can't remember if it is meant to be subcutaneous or intramuscular or if it even matters!

any help much appreciated.

All I can say is that mine was the same as all the other shots - in the belly-fat.

Can't you call your Dr. or the Clinic/Hospital?

there's only an emergency line at this time and this isn't an emergency, it's just me panicking over what's probably nothing!!

i've been doing my other injections in the top of my leg, subcutaneously into a bit of pinched fat so suppose i'll just do the same unless i get a reply on here before 8.30 telling me not to!!

hi

just wanted to let you know that most are done intramuscularly in the butt area. but i would make sure with the doc, ive it twice and its been in the same area as progesterone injections.

I had to do mine in the hip area. Doc said to get it in the muscle.

I may be too late to help. Mine was ovinelle (spelling) and it was definitely subcu not in the muscle. Either thigh or tummy.
