new to the site and need advice

Post by pjpalmer »

Hi,

Hi, I am new to the site and hope you dont mind me joining in.

I got a bfp 2 weeks ago and have my first scan tomorrow which Im a bit worried about. For the last 4/5 days I have been getting a pain in my rightside and in my back. Im not sure if it starts in my back and travels to the front. I cannot either really pinpoint where the pain is. Its not always constant, but I know its there. I have also been getting a brownish/yellowish discharge with bits in ( I know that sound vulgar) and im worried what is actually going on and what they will say tomorrow. The discharge changes colour so some days its normal, the other days its like I have already explained. is this normal?

I also have hip ache which I think is a change in hormones and this is quite back at night and end up sleeping sitting up.

I know I have only got until tomorrow to wait, but I am beginning to panic. I have read it could be ligament pain, or an urine infection, but i also know this could be something a lot worse. Im praying that everything is ok tomorrow and hope to see a heart beat. Is this normal at 6 weeks?

PJ - I was experiencing round ligament pain as early as 6 weeks - so I don't think it is too early since many factors such as height and weight can contribute to when you would be feeling that....As for the discharge, go with what the dr says - I think you should be fine but check in and let us know
